Tamar Braxton’s Throwing Shade on K. Michelle Because of Her Past Relationship With Memphitz

I don’t know when Tamar is going to learn to mind her own reality TV business but it needs to happen soon. Apparently during the season premiere of “Love and Hip-Hop Atlanta” she sent out a few subliminal messages about one of the cast members, K. Michelle. The back story is K. used to date Memphitz before he married Toya and though K. Michelle didn’t name names, she did disclose on the premiere that she used to be in love with a man who helped her get a $2 million dollar record deal but said he eventually ‘beat her a**’ and left her with nothing. Memphitz being a music executive at Jive makes him the likely woman beater in the story and apparently Tamar didn’t like that so she got to popping off 140 characters at a time.

In an interview with TT Torrez of IPower 92, K. Michelle explained exactly what happened:

“She was on twitter last night [and] she deleted the tweets because she knows she doesn’t want it with [me]. She better stay over there with ‘Family Values’. She deleted the tweets because people were tweeting me what she said. she was saying to Toya ‘Oh have fun and let this girl sell her fairy tale’ and all I tweeted was that ‘I like Toni anyway,’ because I do. You know me, I don’t mess with anybody until they mess with me and I don’t play them little games. I’m from Memphis, we jump gates! We don’t play in them little games. So until the muppet gets it together she needs to stay away from me.”

What’s interesting is that although she clearly wouldn’t hesitate to get busy with Tamar, many assumed she was scared to talk about her relationship with Memphitz which is why she didn’t put his name out there on the show. She said that’s not the case.

“I wasn’t scared about that because you are only scared when you’re lying and you only get scared when there aren’t any facts. His family still talks to me and they know the truth. For me, it was like, I still try to do it right and not be shady out of respect for Toya and the situation. I did not even say his name. I told my story without saying his name because I did not want it to be like ‘Oh K is throwing shade’ or ‘K is bitter’ no! He probably is a different man now. Different women bring out different things in men. I wasn’t the one to calm him. And I’m not mad at him or her but the one person I am mad at is Tamar Braxton, that muppet, she needs to have several seats.”

Tamar take note.

I’m just happy to see that one of the cast members appears to have some sense. Funny how people want to jump on K. Michelle for telling her own story discreetly and people like Tamar want to jump up and defend something that they don’t have anything to do with. K. handled that entire situation well from not naming names to not insinuating Memphitz is now beating Toya. She gets major points in my book. Tamar should go grab those seats.

    K was the highlight of the show. Her and Scappy’s baby momma seem to be the only one’s with sense. She has a beautiful voice and that was my first time seeing her. That’s sad what ol’ boy did to her but it’s great she didn’t let it break her. As for Tamar, for some reason it seems she thinks she’s as talented as Toni. She needs to be thankful that her sister’s name made her famous. First she threw shade at Jill Scott and now K. She better calm down.

    This is the same reason Tamar will never come out with a real album. Always running her mouth, and doing too much. She better be lucky, she got a good man. K Michelle did it right, and that’s why Toya or Memphitz are not coming out to bash her because they know she’s telling the truth. Just shut up, Tamar.

    K. Michelle def got several points in my book after that interview. Maybe she’ll be different than all the rest of the girls on this season and the last season. Wasn’t there a story about Wayne not wanting his daughter around Toya’s boo, in the beginning of their relationship because of some rumor? Makes me wonder…

    It seems like Tamar will do anything to keep herself relevant. She was on twitter not too long ago goin in on Jill Scott because Jill gave a shout out to her good friends Mary Mary for their positive reality show. Who does she thinks she is? Jill Scott can like whatever show she wants. She started that beef because she thought Jill was throwing shade at Braxton Family Values because both shows are on the same network. Jill never said anything negative about any show…all she did was congratulate her friends. I wonder why we haven’t heard any music from Tamar yet? On Braxton Family Values she constantly acted like a brat until she got her coveted record deal. Now that she has the deal still nothing. I’m beginning to think Tamar can’t put her money where her mouth is and produce music people will want to pay to hear. In your own words Ms. Tamar….GET YOUR LIFE! and stay out of grown folks business.

      I didnt watch Love&Hip Hop either. But from reading the article, Tamar is out of order. Stay in your lane.

    Y’all know poor Tamar is doing anything and everything to have her turn, since she will never come out of Toni’s shadow as she’s the only successful Braxton and by far the prettiest one and Toni is the only reason they got the show in the first place. I can’t stand Tamar, she is too extra for no reason.
    Further more, if she’s supposed to be Toya’s friend, she now needs to be listed as an enemy, because she brought her two cents in and put Memphitz name out there where the victim did not! Tamar is obviously a classless, tasteless muppet just like K said and bvipusly, she didn’t want none, cause K might have to get her!

    She’s absolutely right. She told her story without being disrespectful to Toya and what Memphitz has going on now. I love “Braxton Family Values” and how Tamar sticks up for her sisters but on THIS issue, K is absolutely right. Tamar needs to take several seats. If Toya didn’t speak up and say anything, why are you? You weren’t there nor are you involved in any way. I’m so sick of celebrities (people in general actually) getting involved in situations or “beefs” that don’t involve them. You can support your friends without overstepping your boundaries. This is how things get blown out of proportion and a “beef” starts, when people who don’t know nothing get in the middle and start instigating the drama. BUTT OUT!
