Check out the three steps to using the kit on StyleBlazer.com.

Transitioning kits? I’ve seen it all now, I believe. Essentially, I remain baffled at the pomp-and-circumstantial ‘ritual’ behind ditching the relaxant, weave and straightener to return to the hair with which you were born, in so far as it even has its own special terminology. Transitioning? It’s not some metaphysical or spiritual phenomenon, nor are you morphing into some other structure. Just chop off the texture, look after your hair with regular washing, simple nourishing oils, no over-brushing or hyper-tractional plaiting and get on with life with no worries!

Evidently, hypersensitivity + gullibility = big money.

My hair was relaxed until I asked my husband to cut it two months ago. I don’t need a transitioning kit, but I do need is a moisture in my hair because none of these shampoos and conditioners deals with black hair. Every last one of them dry out my hair.

Try sulfate-free shampoos. If those don’t work, try using conditioner alone to wash. For moisturizing, I’d suggest making sure you have a good leave-in conditioner and an oil or butter for sealing. Another important thing is to make sure your head is covered at night with a satin bonnet or scarf or use a satin pillowcase to keep your hair from drying out at night. Hope this helps.

I agree with @95b24b27425a2486f1991a2021a014be:disqus. I’d also say cowash your hair at least 2 times a week, always doing a DC before. You can honey and oil to your dc’s to really help your hair’s moisture.

Make sure the shampoo n conditioner is sulfate free. Sulfate tends to dry out our hair which causes damage. Good luck!!!!

Is a transition kit really necessary? Seriously

I saw it today at sephora. . . another excuse to drag 40+ more dollars out of women insecure about their hair. . .
