May he rest in peace. This world is going nuts. People dying in there 40s.

Its really unfortunate that his legacy is what it is…”The guy who took the beating that launched the LA riots” and even though he never got justice, his situation helped shine some much needed light on the LAPD’s corrupt ways during that time…So he’ll never be forgotten–definitely a unforgettable figure in American history, no matter how good, bad, or ugly it was…RIP Rodney King.

Pop culture? Maybe if you count being popped with police batons.

      • Rayven

Yes, pop culture like it or not he is a 90′s pop culture feature, a Trivia Pursuit question, his beating, arrest and famous quote are apart of POP CULTURE!

I don’t think you understand the term ‘popular culture’. I don’t really think you understand the concept of ‘culture’ either.

I understand civil rights being broken. And that’s what it’s called.

Pop Culture? How about real life. It was popular for all the wrong message.
