And Then There Were 4: Shaunie Gives 3 BBW Cast Members Pink Slips

It’s a good thing I didn’t place a bet on who I thought Shaunie was cutting from “Basketball Wives” because I would have been wrong. My prediction was that she would leave the show (just as a cast member, I know she’s not walking away from the producer end), and cut Kesha and Kenya since they didn’t really add anything to the show this season, except being punching bags for Tami and Evelyn, but I was only right about one choice.

According to TMZ, Shaunie has cut Kesha Nichols, Royce Reed, and Jennifer Williams from returning next season and the girls will find out the news any day now—although if they read blogs they already know. The supposed reason is that they’re “dead weight,” but if that’s the case, Suzie should have been cut a long time ago because she didn’t even instigate any drama last season and it’s been painfully obvious from the beginning that that’s her only storyline.

It’s not hard to see why Jen is cut, considering her lawsuit and all, although how ironic that when she and Evelyn makeup she gets cut. Can’t have two people actually getting along on one season can we?

TMZ hears Royce was cut because she wasn’t legally allowed to talk about Dwight Howard due to a 2009 gag order, so basically she didn’t have enough drama either— Although that’s nothing new. The main reason is likely the fact that Shaunie and Evelyn refused to tape with her so unless she started dating another man before tapping began, her storyline would be pretty dead too.

I can’t even imagine who they’ll find to replace these three, although I’m sure it won’t be as hard as I imagine. Evelyn’s assistant Nia would fit in perfectly with her slap-happy ways. She better snag herself a baller within the next few months if she wants to actually get paid rather than sued for acting a fool.

    Let’s take action, not just words by not watching this show. If we don’t watch, they won’t have any choice but to cancel it. We get mad, yet we still go back to watch so let’s do what we say.

    Shaunie needs to leave! She adds nothing to the show and all she does is follow behind Evelyn and Tammie like a puppy.

    I stopped watching the show after Season 2, but I read the blogs and catch what others say about it. from what I’ve read, they cut the ones who publicly came out and said that the direction the show was going in was bad. I saw Royce’s letter, Kesha’s interview, and something Jen wrote. They all had something to say about the women needing to grow up, and those are the ones who got the axe. Guess there’s no room for maturity on the show. Sad

    Blah blah blah. Shaunie is one of the show’s producers as such she is at liberty to give the boot to whomever she wants. I’ll be tuning in to season 5 and so will almost everybody on here despite all the bickering. Lets be honest, we all love the drama otherwise this show wouldn’t be on for a 5th season. Everybody takes the high road on the blogs yet every monday night we tune in lmao!!!

When you throw bottles,jum tables and act like a raving animal to someone and then turn it around and say it is the fault of the people who were attacked and not willing to address these serious things their is no high road.     Ok I’m confused…… They are all upset with Jen because of the lawsuit. Right? But didn’t Tami have a lawsuit against Evelyn, then later dropped it? Shaunie seems to hold a double standard when it comes to Tami and Evelyn. Shaunie really needs to reevaluate some things.

When Jen stood up for herself it pissed Shaunie off! They walk around all season kissing each other’s rear ends, talking about the ones not in the ‘circle’ but then get upset when they are spoken about. When Tami slapped Evelyn with that lawsuit, Shaunie DID NOT address Tami as if she were wrong. I cannot stand it. It is all buffoonery and minorities should stand up and not accept the way we are depicted on NTV. It is sickening. Then when Shaunie went to her pastor and he said she is going through a valley, this is the decision she made, BS! I will not tune into and watch BBW drama. Shaunie is not a BBW, Tami dates a whoever the heck he is, Evelyn is now with football, Suzie does nothing but run her trap what clownery!!

    These cuts were predictable because they represent the people with the common sense and dare I say maturity.They also represent the people that are probably on the move from the show anyway. I suspect this is the last season for the show.. Shaunie, Evelyn and Tami are cut from the same bolt of cloth, Suzie and Kenya is just a puppy rollover, sit, heel good girl good girl suzie. Shaunie can’t handle a strong woman. It is indicated by the choices she made unless the real puppet masters at VH1 are calling the shots. I can hear it now, Well! Shaunie let us put it this way, either you have drama or there will not be a show. We will keep the crazy bitch,Tami, the ignorant fool that is marrying the dumb football player, Evelyn, the white girl to hopefully make a crossover, which we doubt and the village idiot, Kenya. Lets go out with a bang, well get you a couple more air heads to fill the foster. I would be nice if the got one of the MMA women kickboxers and not informed Tami or Evelyn, just mention that they were athletic..

    This just proves that Shaunie is as grimy and greedy as the trash she continues to employ, this is personal if it was for ratings she would’ve dropped Suzie’s instigating a** long ago, and it was clear during the reunion show that she was pissed at Jen for filing a lawsuit and pressing charges against Nia but not because she cares because it makes her look bad and her show will be in court somewhere, she instigates fights amongst alley cats for others entertainment and her pockets but don’t want to be accountable when it goes to far…GTFOHWTBS! She’ll just bring in fresh meat for Evelyn and Tami to rip into while she pimps there “lime light” starved a**es out, sits back collecting checks, instigating and playing innocent. People will continue to look down on her and judge when she walks in amongst a group of executives because thats all she deserves shes everything they think of her and more

      Shaunie cut them because she does not want to accept responsibility for her actions. She was in on the way this season turned out along with Evelyn. Shaunie is jealous just like Evelyn and Keynya fits she wanted to be with them anyway. Remember you reap what you sow. I won’t be watching.
