Over the last few years, Solange has become the unofficial poster child for natural hair. She chopped her hair off and that’s all people could talk about. She grew her fro out and that’s all people could talk about. Well, Solange is sick and tired of talking about her. She and her fro are gracing the pages of this month’s Glamour France, but Ms. Knowles took to her Twitter to write, “My hair is not very important to me….so i don’t encourage it to be important to you.” We totally understand her frustration over the criticism and fascination with her tresses. But we also love the risks Solange is willing to take with her hair. She switches up color, length and texture with ease.
