Is Evelyn Ready To Be The Breadwinner Now That Ochocinco Is Out Of A Jobby Job?

It’s rainy a tad heavy in Evelyn Lozada land right now. Not only has the “Basketball Wives” star been dealing with all sorts of backlash for her behavior this season, now her man has lost his job.

News hit late yesterday that Chad Ochochinco was released from the New England Patriots. When I heard the news all I could think of was how eerily similar Chad’s dismissal is to Lamar Odom being moved to the Mavericks then cut from the team mid-season. I know Chad’s performance fell off a bit from what it was when he was a Bengal but I’m thinking pro-ball teams don’t play this reality TV drama mess.

Evelyn appears to be unphased by the news. She sent a tweet to her fiancé saying:

“Aww baby you got cut @ochocinco I got your back! I’m the bread winner now, which means I make the rules! #Boom”

Chad joked about being with Evelyn for her money on an episode of “Basketball Wives” this past season but that might end up being the reality in a roundabout way. I know this happens to couples everyday but there were already speculations about just how strong their relationship was. I wonder if Chad and Evelyn can weather the storm. What do you think?

    This is the best time for CHAD JOHNSON to emerge. Cut ties with all things OCHOCINCO including that sham of a fiance you have. There is someone out there for him that will make a good wife but it isn’t her. He needs to focus on football and being a good dad and let the other foolery fall away, BBQ wife included

    When Evilyn told Jenn she’s not about that life, what life was she referring to? Hoeing? Grown folks picking fights? I really don’t know and it has always baffled me. #nottoobright

    Does any else get a case of the giggles when they show Evilyn’s name/title label on the show and it says ‘Evilyn – Fiance of Chad Ochocincodemayo’? I swear I laugh everytime I see it.

    It sounds like the things they would say to each other on the show. I don’t see that “relationship” going any further. S3 was all about having twin boys then she said, no she was selfish (her words) and didn’t want anymore kids so the focus could be all on her.

    Sounds a lot more like TO. Instead of spending time on Twitter and doing reality TV, athletes need to be focusing on what they are getting “PAID” to do. 6 million last year, down to 900k this year, right before they cut him. It’s not even like he’s injured… he wasn’t picking up the plays???

    Could you imagine Jordan or Payton Manning doing reality TV or tweeting all damn day? This isn’t highschool. Go watch some tape and study that playbook.

    Interesting coincidence indeed..but someone will pick Chad up he just wasn’t a good fit with the Patriots. I have wondered how Evelyn’s continued erratic behavior and uncontrollable temper would affect Chad’s image..he is no stranger to bad publicity and the media but has cleaned his act up big time and is genuinely a good natured person.

      What he needs to do is stop talking stupid on tv. Saying how good someone’s puss- is on the air is not good. And saying no honeymoon just get hitch and fuc- is something that he should say to her in private if that is something she has no problem with. He should just focus on his career and stay off of her show. I won’t watch them anyway just a suggestion.

    Nope, this relationship is doomed. You see, Evelyn was willing to put up with Chad’s philandering and disrespect as long as he was still a “baller” (in both senses of the word). No matter what feelings she has for him, appearances and materialism will supersede it all. My feeling is this is the beginning of the end of his career and he’ll end-up like Terrell Owens. As the stress of the situation deepens the cracks in their relationship will break wide up. Let’s not forget Chad has children he is still responsible for paying child support for. How long until we start hearing reports that he’s fallen behind? Evelyn will only have his back for so long. Once it starts to affect her money, she’ll jump ship.

    They will use the “we are postponing the wedding because there are some issues we need to work out” excuse. Believe you me Chad never wanted to get married anyway and Evelyn definitely ain’t marrying no broke man. Who didn’t see this coming?

    No. I dont believe that this marriage will last. I don’t think Chad is going to put up with a lot of foolishness, acting ignorant and having a foul mouth and getting cussed out from Evelyn. Please don’t watch Basketball wives. When people stop watching the show, it will go off the air.

Once she says I Do then he is going to stop he at alot of things. he told her that if they had kids she can’t go shopping and hanging out and when she said she was going to remodel his house he said who is going to pay for it. When she gets smart on camera he tells her that if her pus-y wasn’t good she wouldn’t be there. Yes she is going through with the wedding she has to save face from the way she acted this season on bbw. And when she goes broke helping him pay the bills, plus she has to help Nia Crooks since she talked her into doing her dirty work. Evelyn might then shut her filthy mouth. Good she has to keep up appearences from running her mouth.
