Basketball Wives’ Jennifer Got it Right: Your Circle Reflects Your Brand

May 25th, 2012 - By C. Cleveland

Are You in the Right Circle?

Cultivating a healthy social circle is simple in principle. Take stock of the relationships in your life. If your circle can’t get in sync with the three principles below, it may be time to pull a Jennifer and find a new flock to fly with.

  1. Surround yourself with positivity. Your friends should be a support system. Those in your circle should be supportive of the work that you do and the person you are. If a person in your circle is giving out the wrong type of energy, give them a chance to correct their actions by letting them now how you feel.
  2. Don’t give your time to negativity. Time is too valuable to spend it with people who don’t make you feel good. Unlike your family, you choose your friends. Choose to associate with people who support and inspire you.
  3. Be the friend you want to see in your world. In relationships, you get what you give. Make it a habit to look for ways to support the dreams of others, and you should start to see the same energy return back to you.

YES JENNIFER THE COMPANY YOU KEEP DOES REFLECT ON YOU, SO WHY THEN DID YOU ASSOCIATE WITH THESE PEOPLE TO BEGIN WITH. DO YOU SEE CLASSY WOMEN LIKE MICHELLE OBAMA, ANGELA BASSET, SADE, SANA LATHAN HANG OUT WITH THESE CALIBER OF WOMEN?
YOU ARE JUST AS TRASHY AND LOWRATE. SO DON’T COME HERE PONTIFICATING. YOU WILL ONLY IMPRESS THOSE OF MINISCULE MINDS. IT’S NO LONGER IN YOUR BEST INTREST SO NOW YOU WANT TO DO AWAY WITH THEM. WHY DID YOU NOT TAKE THIS SAME ACTION WHEN MEEKA WAS SLAPPED IN THE FACE??? PUULEEEZZZ!!!!!!

I really don’t watch Basketball Wives any more as I feel that not only this show but all of this type of Reality shows from Housewives of Atlanta, New York, New Jersey, etc. should be “DUMP” with the trash. As a professional women I am beside myself with those ladies you are giving good professional women a very bad look in this sociality. Jennifer,  Keisha and Royce very smart move on your part for being real ladies with respects for yourselves. I have to also say to those of you who have made some outstanding commands here – I do hear you and do agree. And to you Shaunie O’Neal I am so deeply upset with you for the way you call yourself a business women and to allow such craziness to go on from bullying on down. Do you not feel that you have disappointed a lot of women who are true business woman. Shaunie, please step back and take a real look at yourself and the mess that you have allowed to go on in your so call business.

I do believe that Jennifer made the right decision by stepping out of that circle they got going on on the show i like her attitude about everything that has went on in the show and i believe that she will do better than good its the company you keep that afterwhile will rub off on your appearance and she doesnt need that at all so KUDOS to JENNY for making that decision to walk away! Evelyn needs to pray that her marriage stays together!!!!!!
