Breaking up with someone via text is worse than the infamous ‘Dear John’ letter, which served as the ultimate break up letter before cell phones even existed. At least the ‘Dear John’ letter was a bit more tasteful. No one should find out that their relationship is over in 160 characters or less.

    I dated a younger man after 6 months I was giving and he had his hand out along with his family. I found out his begging mom is a coke head. I called her on it one day while asking me for money. He got mad and told me he no longer want a relationship. I think on it now realizing I haven’t lost a thing a d** liability. Before meeting him I’d not dated in 3 years. Ladies never date due to loneliness or Bordem. Not worth it. I lost a lot money wise. Sad. He is back on his grand mom couch. Little known little required. I learned a VALUEABLE lesson

      its life that make us learn the true meaning of friendship and loyalty. When someone you thought was close, could not even,call you to explain a situation, you know that from then on that individual was a born COWARD , and did not deserve to be in your life. It will ALL COME BACK TO THEM IN A BIG NEGATIVE WAY. that will eventfully break them. shout ou to you HOO-YANG -Yellow b***ch.

    this has just happened to me recently everything was good at least that was what i thought…we were supposed to go out then the day of i call no answer didn’t here anything until 4:30 p.m. via text saying he was still busy and haven’t heard from him since….i just feel like they could have had the guts to call me and say it’s not going to work especially when we have been friends for 2 years…iit bothers me but i know that a real man would at least had the courage to tell me something….All i get was a message on facebook saying we are one…I’m not afraid so i know they weren’t talking about me….needless to say i unfriend him and will move on….i know i deserve better then being someone’s option until something else better comes along

      You’re better off without him. For a man to act in that manner, shows he was never serious to begin with!! He’ll probably make contact at some point saying how sorry he is!! If he does tell him where to go.

    i wish i MIGHT use these excuse lol ….when i break up with someone i will use whatever avenue i see fit . because some folks are crazy, or did some unthinkable things and don’t deserve a proper explanation. thank ya kindly MN.

    My ex did the breakup via text…couldnt even face me, and when i wanted to talk about it face to face, he came up with every lame excuse possible. He couldnt even be a man about it, and then had the nerve to put in the text that we could be friends…ahhh no sorry no can do…since he decided that he wanted to take the high school kiddie way out and not face me, there is no friendship there and there will never be…
