Lists On Lists On Lists: Beyonce Makes Two Most Powerful Moms Lists And Nabs Swexy Mama Title

I’m feeling like this is the year of Bey, not that every other year before this hasn’t pretty much been hers too, but she just picked up three more titles on top of People’s “Most Beautiful Woman in the World,” that definitely prove why she has a right to that “Ego” she told us about.

Forbes has placed Beyonce as one of the 20 Most Powerful Mom’s in the World—yes world. She comes in behind mothers like Hilary Clinton but she’s still in a pretty good place at number 14.  On top of being recognized by Forbes, Working Mother magazine also named Bey one of its 10 most powerful moms of 2012, joining the ranks of Angelina Jolie and some political nobles from the Forbes list as well.

And as if power wasn’t enough, everyone, including Victoria’s Secret, is still reveling in the post-baby body that Bey has been showcasing lately because the lingerie company just added her to their “What Is S[w]exy list,” meaning Beyonce definitely is. Who knew becoming a mother could do all that for you?

I have a feeling Bey is going to be riding pretty high for her (don’t call it a) comeback concert memorial day weekend. Motherhood is making her even bigger than she was before.

Congrats To you Beyonce, I do not listen to your music but respect your talents – Happy Mother’s day to all the mothers on this fine day. To my wife, thank you for carrying our baby I love and worship you, can not wait to be a father for the first time.

  • emily

    Congratulations!!

  • love

I salute mothers out there who don’t have the luxury of nannies, nurses and are still making it work. Mothers who have been through so much, and are breast cancer survivor, domestic violence survivor, death of a child or husband and they are stronger than ever. Mothers who are working two or three jobs to provide for their family.

  • Ay

This is called, Beyonce has the best PR people in the land. That is all.

    • utriedit

As she should…she is an entertainer….Whats should she have the WORST???

      • Ay

No it just explains why out of the million or so entertainers who happen to be mothers Bey is THE GREATEST OF ALL TIME, according to these media lists *sips tea*

i really hope that what people are saying about her and Jay-z and that illuminati stuff is not true, or their fall will be just as great as their rise. hopefully this is just extra blessings??

    • Ky

No offense but if there was a secret society around that controlled the country or world or whatever they supposedly control do you REALLY believe here in racist ole America, that a bunch of black rappers and singers would be involved? Besides if its some elaborate secret society then why is everyone talking about it?

      • Caroneisha

Your right to a certain extent. How do you think people get conned all of the time? Cause the con artist get to know you then they use what they know about you against you. Meaning they first approached jay when he was young, guillable and money-hungry.Then they promised him all kinds of stuff, some lies and some truth jus to get him to do as they say. And he did it because he was looking for a come up at any cost. Jus like alot of these young black artist, they come from nothing and as soon as you flash so money in their face they’ll do ANYTHING for it. And the members of these societies don’t talk about it or they’ll come up missing or dead. But there are some that take that chance to expose to the world what the hell is going on. George Bush himself is apart of the skull and bones, he even admitted to knowing about it in a book he wrote. But he said that was all he could say about the matter. If you really do your homework you would see that these secret societies does exist. But trend carefully, cause like those who knew too much came up dead you can do the same. The illuminati is headed by the devil himself and you know he could talk that talk , but it’s up to you to see through the smoking mirrors.

no offense taken. i don’t know a lot of things, but i do know that money trumps race every time. as far as secret societies, they are all over the place. that much i do know. they go by different names, but the one thing they have in common is “ungodliness”. nothing in the world wrong with being aware of your surroundings.

All this Beyonce praise is making me vomit. My mom is a swexy mom my grandmother still got it going on. Being a celebrity doesn’t automatically make you a great mom. Wait until that baby is 5 or 16 when she starts smacking her teeth and rolling her eyes… will she get those awards then?

Boycott these magazines with these lame titles. There’s a lot of mom’s are swexy and great.

I appreciate all the single mothers out there, who are working so hard to provide for their children. Mothers who will sacrifice everything, with the little they have to give their children the best.
Bey and Angelina Jolie are the most overrated women in Hollywood. Her pregnancy and now motherhood is so blown out of proportion.

    • Optimism Rocks!

      Awfully mean

    • utriedit

Ummm….Arent they public figures tho???  There are billions of mothers around the world, however they dont all have a camera in their face for everything they do…. why do people blame the ACTUAL ARTIST for their job and life garnering attention. If you were an international superstar or a movie star would your everyday life not be splashed on every magazine too??? SO I dont think that the fact that these peoples lives are put under a microscope and paparazzi following them around should be blamed on them or take away from other mothers….THIS IS THE LIFE THEY LIVE, ITS CALLED CELEBRITIES AND REGULAR PEOPLE…Some of you sound ignorant.

Congrats to Beyonce and Happy Mother’s Day to all who mother their children and other people’s children as well.!!!!

    • http://twitter.com/prfectisshe myprfectimprfections

hate on what ? the blonde weave ? or the fact she can pop her butt cheeks in three different directions while in mid air?

  • http://twitter.com/prfectisshe myprfectimprfections

beyonce just became a mom . so imo she is a damn rookie. all this praise about her that baby is barely lukewarm out her womb. so PASS on the praise for beyonce. she has a team of stylist to make her swexy and  a trainer! boop (in nene leakes voice)

    • Kitsy

Not to mention that she probably has an assembly line of nannies at her beck and call 24hrs a day. smh

      • http://twitter.com/prfectisshe myprfectimprfections

right! the everyday woman and mother doesn’t have such luxuries so whatever to beyonce being mom of the year or the sexiest mom of the year. happy mother’s day to the real moms out here !

        • utriedit

So what makes her NOT a real mom…the fact that she chose a Career BEFORE her daughter was born that made her millions????? O OK, please explain that to me….Being a real mom means being on welfare and scraping by???? OK, let me know when being a successful woman means that when i have a kid i wont be considered a REAL MOM lmaooooooooo

          • http://twitter.com/prfectisshe myprfectimprfections

well you just put yourself all the way out there lmfao! just because beyonce who had a child like what last week means she deserves all this recognition. if you can’t see the problem with that then girl bye.

  • Guest1234

In other news…Beyonce cures cancer, ends world hunger, opens the first colony on Mars and is on the official short list to become the next Jesus Christ!  All hail our new lord and savior….BEYONCE!!!!

Seriously.  This Beyonce worshipping is getting out of hand, folks.  What’s with the need to idolize this woman?  It’s making you all look kind of stupid.  The “power” lists, awards, “most beautiful woman in the world” titles, crowns, open letters, etc… are not convincing me that she’s superwoman – only that people have truly lost their grip on reality.  American culture has officially become a cult.  I’m defecting.  Save yo’selves!!!!!

    • IllyPhilly

LMAO!! Agreed and it’s NOT a hater thing. It’s scary ain’t that one of those commandment thingy things being broken?

    • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_ARWCN44TE6LUWK5KGBO3XZZIUI Status Quo

Well we all know where this writer is heading according to the Bible.

    • Cathyneal4

I’m proud of her. I tink it’s great that a BLACK woman has that title and young girls can see the imagery She’s not projecting negative images like all of these reality shows. Go Bey!

    • DoinMe

Agree. Folks are mixing up popularity with achievements. What has she done so special as a mother that others haven’t? Did she come up some new breastfeeding method, invented some new pooper-scooper for babies???? All she has to do is breathe and someone will give her an award. *rolls eyes*

      • Ky

As a young woman,  growing up Beyonce has been a great role model for me personally. She just shows that a black woman can do big things, not just as a singer/ performer, but she owns businesses and gives back to the community. Do some people take it overboard? Absolutely, but I think it’s great to have a current Black woman doing so much, I look up to and respect her accomplishments as I do many other black women before her & other women here now. And with all that money comes power. She definitely has a platform that many mother’s unfortunately don’t, it could be a good thing.

        • utriedit

Thank You KY….Im trying to find out whats wrong with giving a black woman props….They give white people awards for just breathing and a black woman is on the top of her game and black people call it worship. SMH….. I guess she should be walking across tables barefoot and throwing wine bottles at peoples heads to garner attention these days…Not actually doing something great like putting out music that we love and being a positive role model to young ladies!!! Sheesh, do yall hear yourselves sometimes???

      • http://twitter.com/prfectisshe myprfectimprfections

its because she is BEYONCE and makes millions like that other poster said and not on welfare as if most women or is it bw are on it? smh some ppl just tell on themselves and their intellect everytime. she just had a baby and now she is mom of the year. when her child is not sleeping most of the time and she gets rid of the nannies then i may consider her “special”. other than that nope .
