Lala got her career start as a media person, and on this episode of “Lala’s Full Court Life”, she got to experience the ugly side of the media, and some of the downs of being famous. Whenever Lala and her son, Kiyan, have “mommy and me time” throughout the streets of New York City, there are always a ton of cameras in sight, capturing her every move. Of course it’s great if you’re working on new projects and want to remain relevant to be photographed whenever you’re out and about and be featured on blogs but on the downside, you can’t discipline your child without it being captured by cameras, and people making assumptions that you’re “abusing” your only son.

“if you’re working on new projects and want to remain relevant to be photographed whenever you’re out and about and be featured on blogs…”
True A-list celebrities with staying power do not have to rely on blogs to stay relevant. Their work sparks attention and speaks for itself. I am indifferent towards Lala but I think she needs all of the exposure she can get to make people somewhat interested in her life.

If you are dumb enough to play the game, play by the rules.. I can’t feel sympathy for someone who chose to do what they are doing, and then do not like all the details that come with their choice. If you know your kid freaks out in front of cameras or paparazzi and you are a ‘celebrity’ don’t walk in the middle of time square and wonder why people are taking your picture and your kid is spastic. I declare… She could have picked a better time and location for that. And for her to get mad that the breakfast club and other interviewers asked her about it is dumb on her part. Showbusiness is not your friend, its all about ratings and the dollar for those people, don’t expect sincerity from people who praise a false facade.
