May 8th, 2012 - By Clarke Gail Baines

Today’s featured cute kids are healthy and happy infants being raised by a gospel singing mother, a Miami Heat playing father, and a leggy blonde actress from South Africa. What these kids all have in common is that they are adorable!

Talk about cheeks we’d love to pinch! This little beauty is Zaya Monique Campbell, the daughter of Erica Campbell from Mary Mary and her husband Warryn. The three-month-old little one has started rolling with her mom and the rest of her family on the road, so Erica thought it was about time to give you an updated introduction to her precious “Zay Zay.” She’s so cute it’s not even funny!

And in other newborn news, Adrienne Bosh has released more photos of her new bundle of joy with baller Chris Bosh. Little man’s name is Jackson, and he’s already got a thing for fashion like his mom. Check out that trendy scarf! Jackson was born on May 3, and he’s already trying to cheer on his dad in the NBA playoffs (just kidding, I’m sure he just wants to sleep all the time). Get a closer glimpse at the young’n.

I can really see both Adrienne and Chris in their new addition…

And lastly, we thought we would introduce you to Charlize Theron’s new son, Jackson Theron. Little Jackson was born in the U.S., and his adoption was revealed in March. This is one of the first times we’re getting to see the new man in her life, and he’s looking beautiful! The two were seen trying to hightail it out of Charles de Gaulle airport in Paris, and Jackson definitely seemed startled by all the flashing lights. Cute, nonetheless.

Much respect to Charlize for going the adoption route. Love it when people open their hearts and homes to children who need it.

What do you think of these newbies? Makes your biological start ticking right? Just kidding! But they’re all very adorable indeed.

I’m so happy Charlize adopted a U.S born baby instead of going abroad, as African-American babies are adopted at disproportionate rates than their counterparts.

You can already see the Mama Bear coming out of Charlize Theron. “If these paparazzi don’t back up off my son…” :)

Just because you wouldn’t feel comfortable welcoming a child of another race into your home doesn’t mean that CT feels or should feel the same way. I often think that accusations that people like CT are adopting in bad faith are really just projections of the disapproval some have of interracial families. Interracial families aren’t for everyone, but they are right for some people. We don’t know CT, and it’s a difficult and time-consuming process to adopt, not to mention raise a child. Without more information, I I think you have to presume that she adopted with an open heart and has a real desire to love and raise her son.

I don’t understand why so many white actress’s are adopting black children.I knew I’d get  cussed out for asking that; so go ahead. But it is kinda strange; isn’t it?And I know Charlize was born in Africa but she is Caucasian in ethnicity. I don’t see why she is using being born there as part of the reason. I hope she knows the difference in being African or Negro.Surely she’s not that stupid. Also I hope everyone understands what I’m asking.

    • Just sayin…

If they dont adopt them…who will? I dont see Black folks lining up to adopt little Black babies! Its better that they get a better chance at life then spend life in a system that is sooo screwed up and antiquated and where nobody cares

    • Ladybug94

I guess leaving them as orphans is more understandable.

    • pure_igenue

Because black children in the adoptive system is extremely high compared to whites. If you want a whtie infant there is a waiting list, if you go in with the mindset that you want to open your home to child, regardless of his/her race, than you will most likely be told you are getting a black child. Charlize adopting a black child goes to show you that she wants to be a Mom regardless of what the child looks like.

    • Lpatt

not sure either, and they are always adopting black males.. wow figures

    • Cristalposh

I understand that your racist that’s what I got from your comment second to that I don’t believe that the adoption process is just as clear cut as you make it out to be a white person doesn’t just go and adopts a black kid or Asian or Latino its who you feel you have a connection to who you feel is apart of you or who can be apart of you and what if shes African maybe her she has a stronger connection with blacks than to whites…….you may never know so I suggest that you dont judge!!

Jackson Theron is so cute! Look at that face haha. He looks so scared. The paps don’t have no respect, you can tell the little man is scared.
If your black, haven’t adopted, aren’t in the process to adopt, or plan on adopting another black kid you may not question why people of another race are adopting black babies. Don’t complain about something if your not doing anything to help the issue. Demarcus Ware, he plays NFL, Adopted a white baby girl. She’s the cutest. Why does the race matter? A kid who didn’t have a chance before, is getting a chance now.

The other babies are extremely cute as well!

  • Faith49031

The Babies are so beautiful but may I ask a Question why do whites always want to save the black children don’t get me wrong God bless their souls but they go other place to get kids and their are kids in the usa that needs parents and white as well as blacks and other races, they when they get the children they don’t know how to take careof their hair and so on…

    • ssb

Charlize new bundle of joy was adopted from the United States and I personally think that it doesn’t matter if the adpotive parent or parents can take care of the childs hair, that’s of little concern as long as the child is happy annd is loved…hair care can come later

      • Hallieplees

Faith49031, I applaud Charlize for adopting a black child, and more importantly a black child from the U S A. Somebodies got to save our babies, who cares that they don’t know how to groom their black hair….they can learn, hell they make enough money to pay for that service.

    • Trisha_B

Jackson Theron was born in New Orleans. Charlize is from Africa, she could have chosen to adopt a baby from her country but she chose to adopt from America. I’ve seen PLENTY of black little kids walking around w/ black parents who hair is not done. Just b/c your black doesn’t mean you know how to do black hair. You have little girls w/ no edges b/c black moms want to braid their daughters hair so tight & pulled back or give them relaxers at 5 years old. & you have little boys walking around w/ unkept hair that needs to be cut & combed. So please, save that talk

    • Ladybug94

Black kids get adopted the least.  Are you saying that because a white person doesn’t know how to care for black hair that it’s better to not adopt them and leave them as orphans?  Wow…what brilliant logic.

    • E_herbert98

What kind of sweeping generalization is this? FACTS, black children are the LEAST likely to get adopted…that’s why foster homes are usualy full of black children. If anything it shows that Charlize took the child because he was AVAILABLE meaning she wasn’t going to wait for a newbown white baby like most white people/couples do.

It always amazes me when black people question White people’s motives behind adopting a child who happens to be black. We as a people should be questioning why our children are the highest in the adoptive/foster system.

  • Shandizzle

I agree many children do need love and a good home but please dont take this the wrong way but im question to why do many white celeb’s adopt black babies, im trying my best not to think that its not a fad?

    • Glittermagic86

why do so many black celebrities adopt white babies?! oh wait… they NEVER do.

    • Trisha_B

Its not fad. Now once Kim Kardashian or Paris Hilton shows up w/ a little black baby thats when the concern can start.

    • Ms_Mara

I’m gonna guess it’s because there are so many little Black babies in need of homes. Unfortunately, the numbers are staggering.

And all of those babies are so precious! Just makes my heart melt.

  • november rain

Awww, the babies are so beautiful!
