Going into the mortgage process blindly is just silly, but going into it without knowing your own details is even crazier. Before you begin checking out a mortgage loan, be aware of your credit score and your credit history. A low credit score will easily increase your mortgage’s interest rate by at least a few percentages. In a worst case scenario your credit score may cause you to not get approved for a loan.
