There are a myriad of reasons why marriage-minded people find themselves single in their 30’s and 40’s. We can’t all marry our high-school sweethearts days after graduation, but that doesn’t mean we won’t come across the love of our lives eventually.

In fact, Pew Research Institute found that a substantial number of people don’t get married for the first time until their 30′s. Further, study after study proves that marrying later in life is actually a benefit for those who want to get married and stay married.

The actresses on the following slides prove it’s never too late to live your “Happily Ever After” and you can still find “The One” after your 30th birthday.

I have to say, I thought later in life meant after 40. Who knew the average age still fell in the 20′s – interesting. Personally I don’t think anyone should get married in their 20′s….but that’s just me.

This article is misleading. Marrying in your thirties is the perfect age. It means you are mature and have sewn your wild oats. “Later” should mean 40s & 50s. GMAB!

I adore Angela and Courtney as a couple. Simply beautiful. Reminds me of the good old days.

Why-oh-why is getting married at 32 (Tia Mowry & MJB) and 34 (Nicole Ari Parker) considered “later in life”?!!

Thank you…I was thinking the same thing!!! 30′s is now later in life??? Since when I ask?? 30′s onwards is the ideal time to get married..

That is late in America the average/median age to get married  for men is 28 and for women 26

    • Alissa Henry

      Later than the average age.

I was thinking the same thing. I’m just now accepting that Tia and her twin sister are grown-ups. Crazy.

Exactly.  They make it sound like the Golden Girls went to the altar.  SMH.
