If you’ll recall, Remy was arrested in July 2007 for attempted murder against a young lady she claims tried to rob her. She plead not guilty and the charge was dropped but she was then charged with assault and weapon possession. Less than a year later, she was convicted of both charges as well as coercion and was sentenced to eight years in prison. I mean, she’s doing EIGHT years (she’s in her fourth year and she’s already been denied parole once) because she thought a woman stole money from her. I’m not saying I wouldn’t have a serious “come to Jesus” moment with a person I thought may have stolen from me but I would NOT be doing time in prison over it.
