Capital One Secured MasterCard

This card offers a super low annual fee of just $29 (compare to the typical $50 to $80). A secured credit card typically sets your spending limit to equal the amount that you deposit into your account, but this card acts more like an unsecured card because you can get a credit line up to triple what you deposit. This gives you a chance to start “borrowing” money you don’t have yet—something a lot of cards don’t let you do if you have bad credit, but something you need to do to re-build up your credit! This card also makes rebuilding credit swift because, after establishing good credit on their secured card, they easily allow you to transition to an unsecured one.
