Malinda Williams Is Not Feeling ‘Think Like A Man’

So a lot of women haven’t felt Steve Harvey’s “Think Like a Man” meme ever since his book came out a few years ago, and the corresponding movie that was just released has reignited a lot of the negative feelings women have toward the idea. You can add Malinda Williams to the list of ladies who do not approve because she recently went on a mini Twitter rant that basically said, get that ish out of here.

“God gave me the gift of being able 2think like a woman. I’m gonna hold on 2that treasure. – but I will support my fellow thesps & filmmakers,” she tweeted before adding.

“If God wanted us to think like men, he would have formed us from Adam’s brain instead of his sensitive rib. – stay in your lane.”

Tell us how you really feel! Malinda also retweeted a message from someone else that said, ““Folks better not let these movies/books take ya out of God’s grace & get put out of ya man’s place.”

I don’t know if it’s that serious, but these ladies obviously support traditional male/female roles in relationships. Judging from her comments, I take it Malinda did not contribute to the $33 million the film took in this weekend.

What do you think about her  thoughts on thinking like a man?

LOL it has nothin to do with the movie at all and if the ignorant lady would have seen it she would know that. Don’t judge a book by its cover has never been so true and if you decide to be ignorant why should anyone care?

I’m with this sister all the way. If a sister has to start thinking like a man, then the man she is with needs to be kicked to the curb. I like my woman being herself and me being myself. Not to be harsh are anything, but if a woman starts to think like a man, then she might want another woman, eh? Steve needs to stay out of the relationship bus and anyone that takes this book to heart is really in trouble. But for the movie itself, my wife and me slept through it for the most until Kevin Hart would wakes with something funny.  Very over rated movie.

i believe malinda’s thoughts about steve harvey’s think like a man, are just that, her thoughts.
and she and whomever else believes this are entitled to how they feel

Aaaand she hasnt had a movie roll since when…….so what if she s not feeling it, its called an opinion……damn get a sense of humor…not even that serious

Before beginning my Christian journey I loved the book, I won’t lie, I even “followed” some of the “tips” which in turn took away me being myself. BUT after I excepted God in my life and Jesus as my personal saviour I view relationships much different. I agree with her, but we must look at the language the book/movie portray. Women if a man is not a man of GOD then you will go through the games, and mind tricks. But any true man of God will keep him first and be honest. He won’t have a problem waiting “90 days” to be intimate, because he wont even try it until after he has said “I do.”

After observing many marriages, and relationships you can see how the difference in moral and thinking effects the quality of a relationship. So yes Melinda, we must think and act like a woman; in return a man must act and think like a REAL man.

This post is not to bash anyones feelings or opinions, we just need to look at the basics of it all. The key to a relationship is communication, if you have that then games and mind tricks aren’t needed.

Malinda being a “hater”???? Really. Its called an OPINION (a JUDGEMENT FORMED ABOUT SOMETHING, NOT NECESSARILY BASED ON FACT OR KNOWLEDGE.)  Now based on that definition, that means that we all have one and are entitled to it. I just so happen to agree w/ Malinda. Its not because I think Steve is tryin to make money off of women or whatever but he’s another Michael Baisden…..a damn motor mouth. I personally feel like I don’t have to watch a movie or read a book about how to think like a man in order to maintain a relationship. I’m the youngest girl and have 7 brothers to ask if I want some type of advice. Thats my perogative

People getting all uptight about this need to understand that Steve was merely talking about relationships from his own point of view. Besides, talking about taking advice from someone with a “good track record” – what does this mean. If we have to revert to the Bible, then God never used anyone perfect but more imperfect people to show that it is not perfection he was looking for. I would rather look to what someone who has been through stuff is saying than someone who has no clue.

i read the book. i never got the impression that steve was telling women to think like men. rather, it was how men think. i learned things that my father never told me about men. perhaps, it was because he was one of those men who didn’t know how to do the right thing. after reading the book, i was more informed.

I had the same thought because of the books title!! If you havent read which she couldnt of (and most of you must not have) its not him trying to tell us how to act he is just trying to tell us the way men think. Its up to you if you want to take his advice. And this chick is so not important right now! It was good black cinema!! Maybe she should read it, might have stopped divorce #2
