Let It Go, Boo: Marc Anthony Was Hoping to Work Things Out With J.Lo–She Said No Thank You.

While Marc Anthony and Jennifer Lopez have been separated for about nine months, Anthony just decided to file for divorce last Monday. Word on the street is, he was hoping that the renaissance woman would want to reconcile, but she passed because she’s in love–with someone else.

You’ve guessed it, she’s allegedly head over heels in love with her young new boo, and background dancer, Casper Smart. Though both Anthony and Lopez thought they were being cute flaunting their new relationships around, including Anthony with a young woman named Shannon De Lima in photos he posted on Facebook, he must have not been as serious with her as he led folks to believe. According to TMZ, Anthony tried to have a serious sit-down with Lopez a few weeks back to see if there was a possibility they could work things out, but she allegedly let him know that she’s in love with Smart and that she wants to see where that relationship can and will go. Marc was allegedly upset at the fact that Lopez was trying to make more of this new relationship rather than working on their issues. He assumed that she and Smart were just a temporary rebound, but it looks like he was wrong.

Lopez has really been open with the public when it comes to her boo-ship with Smart. I mean, homeboy has been getting the chance to help direct her recent videos, he’s been seen jet-setting everywhere with her, dancing with her on TV, canoodling with her in music videos, etc. (It’s like another Bennifer all over again.) I can believe that she’s sprung, but she needs to be careful. She didn’t allow herself any real time to just be alone post-separation and now all eyes are on her and her new man. Yeah, I know the saying: love is blind. But Jennifer, there’s also a better saying: “Don’t be no fool.” The whole dating while separated thing…I just don’t get it, but to each their own.

    I don’t see this relationship lasting at all. She’s following the same path as Madonna and Demi Moore. All three were in long term marriages and divorced and started dating (in Demi’s case married) a much younger man.They are all trying to feel young and desirable which is fine as long as they don’t actually think these types of relationships are built to last. Demi got a rude awakening and the other two will eventually. More importantly is i think it’s irresponsible and reckless to bring this man Casper around the children. For all she knows this guy could be a child molester. The point is she doesn’t know enough about him or the future of their relationship to get the children involved. She needs to realise that she is a mother and the well being of those children should be her first priority. Not strutting all over town with the backup dancer boyfriend. Marc is going to have to step up and be the responsible parent  since his ex-wife is yet again on her never ending quest of finding “love”.

    J Lo is a maneater, moreso after Ben Affleck. Affleck made her feel inadequate as wife material. I know this will never be confirmed. A pilgrim from South Boston and a P.R from the Bronx, aint happening, especially when he is on the rise career wise and is keeping his options open. Note the wifey after JLo. Very acceptable wasp in South Boston. Hollywood be damned, he still had to go home again. Check his movies , he is very proud of his heritage.

    All time leader in rebounds, I tell ya! lol I don’t know why she won’t ever just be alone for 2 minutes before jumping into something new. It almost gives the appearance that she got with this dude before their separation. How do you separate in July and by Thanksgiving you have this man playing with your kids on the beach – on vacation? But like the writer said, to each their own.

    Not surprising, this woman has a history of overlaping relationships. As far as Marc Anthony is concerned, I don’t think she was in love w/him as much as he was w/her. I believe he rescued her from the embarrassing “Bennifer” fiasco (after Affleck played her) married her & she went w/it.

    It’s obvious J Lo wears the pants in any male/female relationship…she is the dominant Type A  personality and she is NOT  a modest woman, that’s what really did in the relationship with M.A.  He wanted a modest, refined, mature wife…she is still livin’ in the fast lane!

      JLO quickly married Marc Anthony on the rebound from Ben Affleck, and I knew once she became a success on American Idol, it was time for Marc to go.  The sad part for Marc is that he had a wife and two little boys (one only 9 months old) that he didn’t want to be with because he was so in love with JLO.  What a mistake!  Now JLO has gone on with her young boyfriend and flaunts it in his face, so I”m sure Marc looks back at the terrible way he treated his 1st wife and now he knows how she must have felt, and it sure ain’t pretty Marc is it?   What comes around, goes around.
