Say What?! Brad Pitt Put a Ring On It

Twenty years and 75 babies later, Brad Pitt and Angelina are officially engaged. OK, it’s more like seven years and six babies, but still that’s a long time and a lot of kids to come between dating and an engagement, but that’s how it goes in the Pitt-Jolie household.

Brad and Angelina will get married, and their new engagement has been backed up Brad’s manager, Cynthia Pett-Dante, who told USA TODAY in a statement:

“Yes, it’s confirmed. It is a promise for the future, and their kids are very happy. There’s no date set at this time.”

Even better than putting a ring on it, Brad designed the custom diamond engagement ring himself, courtesy of Beverly Hills jeweler Robert Procop who made his own statement:

“Brad had a specific vision for this ring, which he realized over a yearlong collaboration with Robert. He wanted every aspect of it to be perfect, so Robert was able to locate a diamond of the finest quality and cut it to an exact custom size and shape to suit Angelina’s hand.

“Brad was always heavily involved, overseeing every aspect of the creative design evolution. The side diamonds are specially cut to encircle her finger. Each diamond is of the highest gem quality.”

You could probably feed a small village for what he paid for it, but you gotta love the thought that went into it. Earlier this year, Brad did say the kids were putting pressure on the couple to become husband and wife, and that they would eventually jump the broom because of them. Looks like that day has come sooner than they imagined. Hopefully these two will prove Hollywood relationships/marriages can last (the second time around). Congrats Brangelina!

    Something kind of fishy about the statement “Promise for the future” …..I mean what is that suppose to mean?…..Is this going to be a long engagement until they ready to marry?……Maybe its just me, I don’t know.

    I used to love Angelina during her Hackers days but after Billy Bob and all her drama with her dad she just made me feel sad for her, like what happened to you woman get it together! & the whole Brad thing I mever got because she said she wasnt with him when he was married because thats the reason she hated her father, he cheated on her mom. Plus Brad aint all that. Still I guess its good for the kids. Marriage though seems to be a curse in Hollywood.

    I’ll never forget when I was watching E! Tv , when beyonce was preggo & they referred to beyonce as ” jayz baby mama” … Brad & Angelina came to mind for some reason , they never referred to her as such . Just a thought

            One, she did not “make out” with her brother. She kissed him. I don’t kiss my brother like that but every family is different. Two, she did not “break up” a marriage. BRAD fell for her and CHOSE to leave his wife and be with her. She was single. BRAD was the one that had taken vows. If anyone is the homewrecker, it is him.

              C’mon.  It takes two people to cheat.  He may have been the one who made the vows, but everyone should respect marriage.  He was not fair game just because he was unhappily married, and Jolie was not blameless because she was single.   Think how much more difficult it would be for men to cheat on their wives if they couldn’t always find women who willingly disregard his marital status.  Everyone knew he was married so she can’t claim ignorance.
