I’m so glad you guys put Aaliyah on the list because she was doing this in the late 90′s/early 00′s and I wanted the look then because of her!

Ombre looks best when the hair isn’t too long or too straight or too drastic of color change (imo)…so Raven, Draya, Ciara were all thumbs down for me.

Keke’s hair is all things lovely and Teyana’s take on ombre matches her personality and looks really cute.

Ciara, on everything you do — your hair, your style, your music — just stop. Take a minute, call up your team, and get it together girl because all in all you’re just a mess.

      Lol.
      Too funny.
Pple need to stoo w.these ugly weaves n bad colors

  • Rachael

My favorite is Teyana Taylor. The purple mixed with the brown on the ends was just too cute and totally different from everybody else.
I really dislike the super blonde on Ciara. Its too bright.

    • Nitty

She always has a full head of hair
      I wonder if it’s hers

  • Jackieo Perkins

All these changing hair “trends” keep women striving for something that isn’t attainable naturally. Short hair one season, long hair the next, different colors — this is merely manipulation by the fashion and beauty industry to keep women spending money. Worse than that is it keeps women spending money on hair that’s sold by people who won’t even allow African American businesses to make a profit from it.

I agree with women overly spending money on hair and yes it is sad that blacks hardly have any part in this buisness but I dont think its too big of deal for women to want to change up their looks with a weave. its a good protective style too *when done correctly of course*

  • Cscott37

All I can say is thank goodness I don’t wear weaves…….wow!

My first thoughts went to Aaliyah when I started this article – I’m glad she was added on the list!  But my favorite ombre look from the chosen women is hands down KeKe Palmer.  My least favorite?  Ciara…
