    This is probably ignorant so I apologize but the way the sentence is written makes it sound like every black person in Hollywood undergoes the transformation from “black” nose to um, “white??” nose.

     I’m curious why people would feel the need to do this in an attempt to (I guess??) look less ethnic (is that what they are doing??) because my current white person nose looks exactly like her nose in the before picture…

    Again, forgive my ignorance but is her nose in the before picture really considered “ethnic” or “black”?

    I’m really asking because I wasn’t aware that Alicia Keys’ nose made her “look black”.

    That pics of Natalie Portman IS NOT of her before the nose job.  I’ve seen pics of her when she was in the professional and after.  It’s obvious she had a nose job.  Google it and you’ll see.  Her nose is definitely slimmed down.

    Alicia and Natalie’s noses look the same. it’s called makeup…the dark under eye circles are what make AK look different and the chubby face on Natalie. they chose the worst looking “before” pics.

      Go to the celebbrity plastic surgeries website. You will see another picture of Alicia in that picture she was wearing her hair natural (tight curls)and it does look like she may have had something done, not that there is anything wrong with that.

    I always try to come and support you, and not criticize but I think you left some important factors out- Vivica has had waaaay more plastic surgery then just her boobies, and Ciara has also had a nose job in addition to her boobs, Kelly Rowland got her boobage done to, I think since the title is “Surgeries that slipped by” NeNe shouldn’t have even been on it since she aired her dirty laundry on her show

    this article makes me sick. it’s sad that all these beautiful women felt the need to get surgery. What is wrong with natural thin bodies with small breasts or natural round noses? they were beautiful before and by saying their surgeries made them “more perfect” you’re condoning a culture that tells women that the way they look is never good enough. you don’t have to be super thin with huge breasts and a** and white facial features to be beautiful.

    I don’t think Nicole got implants, I think that’s all natural from having babies.

    I don’t know about some of these claims. My nose looks huge in pics when I was younger but now it appears my nose is smaller.  I wonder if people would think I had a nose job.  Kate Winslet gets accused of this all the time and agrees her nose looked bigger when she was younger but appears smaller now that she is older.  I think people rush to assumptions because it makes them feel better about their own perceived inadequacies.

    Hmmmm it does make you think. Then again…if my breasts start to head south after a few babies, I see no problem in getting a boob job!! Yeah, what’s the big deal….
    As long as people don’t use Michael Jackson (God rest him) and Li Kim as examples..it’s all good. Plus, I really don’t care if people do or not..just refrain from looking like a freak.

    Who cares! They’re the ones who are paying to be “perfect” out of their own pockets. I personally believe in aging gracefully and naturally.
