Tisha Campbell-Martin Addresses Smiths’ Divorce & Marriage Rumors

I do not envy celebrities when it comes to developing and maintaining a relationship in the public eye. The rumors some members of the media are willing to create to get a dollar  are really at the expense of a real life relationship. It’s really kind of sad when you think about it. But such is the price of being in the public eye.

Tisha Campbell-Martin, wife to actor Duane Martin, recently took to Twitter to address to some of the drama that’s been swirling around about the “impending” Smith divorce.

“Usually I ignore negativity, but I’m tired of the media attacking TheSmiths. They’re an amazing couple n I wish ppl wld stop perpetuatin LIES.”

    Duane Martin! Haven’t seen that guy since Scream 2.

    (Scream 2 was by far the best Scream.  Yes, I’m aware this has nothing to do with the topic, but c’mon, how often do you get to discuss the acting accomplishments of Duane Martin.  Stay “Above the Rim”, son!!! LOL!!!)

    I really wish, she would or Dwayne would just come out and say this: ” I am not gay, me and Will are not together, we’re just friends.” I think that would “dead” the situation. The more they tip-toe around the questions surrounding their relationship, the more people will speculate.  The Silence is loud as hell!

      I don’t think it would dispel the rumors because once people get on something, it doesn’t go away that easily.  Then, someone would find a new aspect of it to keep bringing up.  It’s really a shame that people can’t be friends with members of their own sex now, without it arousing suspicion.  Ridiculous.
