4 DIY Home-Made Facial Masks To Rejuvenate Your Skin

March 21, 2012  |

If you’re looking for a natural toner for the impending summer months, try an egg, strawberry, and lemon mask.

  • 2 egg whites
  • 1 strawberry
  • 1 teaspoon of lemon juice

Separate the egg white from the yolk. Beat the egg whites until bubbles form. After you mash the strawberry, add it to the egg whites along with the lemon juice. Apply the mixture to your face and leave on for about 10 minutes. Rinse with warm water or you can peel the mask off.

Great article but as an unemployed college graduate with a major in journalism, I just hate to see typos on a website. It’s “then” and not “than” and “peel” not “peal.”

I wish I could like your comment a thousand times over! I’m sorry you’re unemployed and have to read mistyped articles on a website that would rather filter and “edit” our comments THAN their own journalists’ work. I was thinking the same thing while reading, of all things, an Ebony magazine. Although I am in Healthcare, I am guilty of proofreading any literature that strikes my interests.

I am going to try these asap! I wish more would gain understanding of how the earth provides natural resources for our body as these chemicals we apply to our skin.
