Given all of the miserable married people I know who did it to appease the judgmental folks in their lives, I cannot blame her. *Shrugs* … If she’s happy and her man and her kids are happy that’s all that matters. I am sure she has her own reasons for taking that stance and you have to respect people’s choices.

Who are you calling a trashy chickenhead you dumb ninja? I went to college and got a Bachelor’s Degree in Preforming Arts and being a stage actress, so I’m too busy being a chickenhead/hoodrat. You must be a black man with issues. #gethelpnow

Plus I was on here because it was 1AM, reading an article on here and voiced my opinion, so yes a free-spirited woman like myself are allowed to comment on here too, now go play in traffic!

It’s sad that so many black women have been delelgated to baby makers instead of wives.  Bad part is that too many, unlike Nia Long, arent in the home with the fathers of their children.  I do believe that most women say they dont want marriage because the men they are with simply dont want to commit to them.  But for those who are Christians we do have to follow what God wants for us…not the world, not our men.

The real story is that Nia Long doesn’t give a damn what any of us feel about her decision to have children outside of marriage, Christian or not.

I don’t really understand the logic myself but at the same time who am I to judge her. God holds us all accountable for our own sins. Be it big or be it small sins are all the same in gods eyes. *shrugs*….i personally feel marriage is something I would strive for before bringing a child into this world. Some people dont value marriage as much as other. Different strokes for different folks.
