Former Friend of Phaedra Parks Exposes Her Criminal Past

Phaedra better pull out her prayer cloth, honey, because a former acquaintance is revealing some deep, dark secrets about her past.

When Phaedra first joined the cast of the Real Housewives of Atlanta, the southern belle’s marriage to “ex-con,” Apollo Nida, was the big scandal in her plot until she dismissed his criminal involvement as a white-collar crime. But now a woman Phaedra supposedly used to run a crime ring with says Apollo isn’t the only one in the family with a criminal past, and she’s exposing all of their secrets in an upcoming memoir, Lies of a Real House Wife: Tell The Truth and Shame The Devil.

Angela Stanton says she first met Phaedra at a party back in 1999 and the two quickly became close friends. They soon became involved in criminal activity as well, making fraudulent insurance checks for more than two years before she and Apollo were caught and locked up. Only doing a short stint, Angela says when she was released, she hooked back up with Phaedra, Apollo, and his brother and they began getting involved in federal racketeering, stealing Porsches, Hummers, and Cadillacs for three or four years and flipping them. Since that’s the charge Apollo reportedly went to prison for, Angela’s story does seem possible. And she also said since Phaedra is an attorney, the agreement was that she would represent her, Apollo, and his brother if they were to ever get caught.

Although Angela was sent to prison for five years for their crimes, and is clearly a little bitter, it’s obvious why she’s choosing to expose
Phaedra now.

If Phaedra was just a regular Atlanta resident rather than a reality TV star, these allegations would’ve never seen the light of day—which is what makes Angela’s detailed account a tad suspect. But now, there’s no telling how many people will pick up this memoir when it’s released in a few days. Sounds like Marlo might not be the only “housewife” with a busted past.

    Why are people so heartless.  If it did happen, it was the past.  why come out now and say this to ruin someone, simply because you are bitter about something.  We shouldn’t entertain it, because what if it were you.  they were friends, and for some reason or another, this person is coming out with this.  I dislike when people do this.  Get mad and then want to drown someone in their misery.

    don’t believe it and if it is true, don’t care; I like Phaedra and her family and will not buy into any latter day regrets about past transgressions

    OH PLEASE!!! HERE WE GO!! SMH… another bitter, angry, hating woman!! Thats a damn shame.. Like REALLY??? Sounds to me like someone just wants a lil bit of lime light! Whistling all thru that gap!! Jealously is a fatal disease… Hope she gets well soon! SMH…

    Word is that Phaedra has/is about to surrender her law license, hence the funeral home. She didn’t hire 2 high profile attorneys for nothing (1 for defamation and the other for criminal charges), but the tell-tale will be if Phaedra wins or lose the defamation lawsuit against Angela. At this point, it seems that Phaedra is losing.

    Oh Boo Hoo…Like it was said before “You do the crime, you do the time!” No cryin’ and snitchin’ ’cause you itchin’!! Plain and Simple…You were doin’ what you were doin’ and wasn’t thinkin’…about yourself nor your kid(s)… so if you weren’t thinkin’ of YOUR kid(s), what makes you think anyone else would? That’s your STUPID fault to put your own welfare as well as your kid(s) welfare on the line because someone gave you their word(supposedly, allegedly)….Just plain IGNORANT!!! Now you wanna  Whine…SMDH

    She would have been disbarred so fast if any of this were true. I don’t believe ANY of it.

      THIS is possibility VERY TRUE.  Phaedra was probably the ring leader running the administrative dealings without touching any paper whatsoever. Infact she probably did this on purpose as not to leave any fingerprints on anything.  She is an ATTORNEY and knows exactly what to do, AND how to bet the system. WELL DONE, if she did it.  I believe she DID.  On top of that if I were the one who went to prison 4 you, while you promised to represent me, and take care of my children…I probably would have done worse. At the very least I would tell it all like she is doing now.  If Phaedra had just stayed behind the scenes not attracting all this HOLLYWOOD attention to herself. She possibily could have escaped this “friend” from her past.

      I think the friendship ended when this gal was in labor wearing shackles, after Phaedra, (allegedly), left her to fend for herself. I have always liked Phaedra on The Real Housewives, but if this lady has a story to tell, I say, good for her for getting it out.
