Zahara Rocks Blue Extensions

March 14, 2012  |

All the little ones want to experiment with color it seems. Zahara, daughter to Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, was recently spotted out and about with her blue box braids.

No shade seriously, but I have to know did anyone else notice that this is the same shade of blue Lil Mo rocked in her Superwoman video?

Check out more pictures of Zahara’s new hair extensions at

Extenstions are HORRID for any young child!

For the first couple of years, the Zahara’s head looked as if NO ONE combed it — it was pulled up into a sad looking, pointed “ponytail” with all kinds of stuff sticking out.  Now this child, who is not even 10 yet, has blue extensions.  COMB THE CHILD’S HAIR, DAMNIT — or PAY someone to do it properly. See, I am all for inter-ethnic adoption, but on the other hand, this is why some folks (and I am not naming names) should not adopt black children or have them.  To me, extensions on  a child indicates the child is having some issue with the hair that they were born with. These parents should be about helping the child to embrace his/her own locks.  Zahara looks a hot mess — AGAIN.  I appreciate that the Pitt-Jolies are giving these children an affluent and loving home, but there are going to be issues in a multi-ethnic family that they need to be prepared for.  I hope they (the parents) grow up enough to seek out advice and counsel in raising this diverse family to become self-confident, self-aware and self-loving, productive young people.  Don’t have children just because you can.

I’m not saying your wrong but seriously she’s just a little girl…those braids are just fine. In the black community little girls wear braid with extensions all the time. Ik I did. It’s not like shes wearing tracks or a wig. I’m sure as she gets older ang will either hire someone or learn how to do ethnic hair but as of now I really don’t think it’s a big deal

I just hope  she doesn’t end up w/damaged edges/hair b/c her parents won’t learn to properly care for her natural hair…
