Model Child: Tank’s Daughter Lands Haute Headz Campaign

Smooth R&B singer Tank may be absent on the entertainment scene but his daughter is just making her debut. The ab-alicious artist’s 4-year-old daughter recently completed a photo shoot for the company Haute Headz as a model for their Cameo Queen collection of hair accessories.

Zoey Babbs’ looks show the company’s goal of bringing boldness and elegance back to hair accessories. In one set of prints, the young model rocks a more tomboyish look in a white tank, jeans, and sneakers, with a gold headpiece featuring a jeweled heart. In another set, a pink tutu and Hello Kitty sweater with a silver headpiece make her look more girly and playful.

One thing that’s clear is Zoey is not shy in front of the camera. At four she’s already got a big personality, plus she’s a cutie!

    I can definitely see Tank in her… That nose o_O.
    Nice eyes though, I assume the other poster mentioned the perm because of how young she is.. I hope it was a blow out or press as well,perming damages the scalp and budding selfesteem of women much less little girls.

    Plus at 4,how coarse could your hair “mixed” childs hair be?
    Not even type 4a-c hair is coarse in the first 6 years of life to warrant a perm. Parents are just lazy.

    She is a cutie pie. I’ve seen her mother, she is very light. I just pray that straight hair of hers, is really hers, and not a perm. But other than that. she is cute.

       So if she doesn’t have a perm, then hair is not hers?  That makes no sense.  And why are you praying about that child’s hair?  Is it that serious for you?  And who cares what complexion her mother is?  Why can’t we just admire the child and not try to break down whether or not her hair is naturally straight or not or how light or dark she is.

        Seeing as how she’s half black it’s possible. If her hair is naturally straight it’s fine, as long it’s not a perm, I would hate for her hair to be permed at such a young age. And i bring up her mother because she very well could have gotten her straight hair from her mother. Which is also fine. How many times have a white woman and a black man make a baby and she doesn’t know how to style black hair, so she slaps a perm in it.  Quit stirring up unnecessary ish it wasn’t that serious.

              Why do darkskin girls have to have “lil afro puffs”???
              @Barnes, I do agree it had to do with the light eyes,not the light skin. If this little girl didn’t have the eyes,we wouldn’t be distracted by them and you would realize her crazy buffer zone (nose). Which I’m sure she’ll grow into at a later date. If this girl was darkskinned with the eyes she would still be deemed as cute, but without the eyes she wouldn’t be cute period, and people would say it and it wouldn’t be a problem. She looks like a lightskin pre-op Patti LaBelle.

              As for darkskin and afro puffs?? I’m offended. In my experience darkskin girl children always have their hair combed or braided,lightskin and mixed black childrens parents subject them to “afro puffs”.

If I didn’t know better I would think it was coming from a nonblack person. He said the kid was cute because of eyes and skin.. Where does lil afro puffs on darkskin girls come in?

                    Because they made it seem like the only reason that kid is cute was because of her light eyes and skin. then i said kids of all skin colors and hair texture can be cute.

      Stop w/ that whole light skin crap seriously smh. Her mom knows the woman who designs them. If you go to the website, Draya is one of the models & Zoey’s mom is a model on there as well. Zoey’s mom & Draya are friends, along w/ the designer of the head gear.

      Do you have kids? If you do, Lemme see pics of your kids. Your kids better be BEAUTIFUL, gorgeous, & flawless! Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Everybody sees beauty differently. I think she’s gorgeous. I’ve been seeing pics of her on BCK for a while now & she gets cuter. Not b/c she’s light skin & not b/c of her eyes (even tho they are gorgeous) but b/c she has such a big personality. Some of you adults are…sad!
      This whole light skin vs dark skin thing is OLD. We’re all black, we just come in different shades. Not a big deal at all. 

      & her hair is not relaxed, her mom blows it out.
