Tyrese Talks About Hooking Up With Chilli Off-Screen

Ever Since Tyrese released the steamy video to “Nothing on You” featuring Chilli, questions have been going around about just how much of their on-screen chemistry was acting and how much was the real deal. Tyrese recently chatted with The Boombox about what’s been going on in his romantic and professional life, and here’s what he had to say about hooking up with Chilli:

“Oh yeah, Chilli’s pregnant [laughs]! I’m just playing. That’s a good friend of mine. We’ve known each other for many years. I think there are only so many female entertainers left who are sweet, innocent, not jaded, who have natural beauty without implants and assistance. Doesn’t matter what camera angle you shoot them at, they’re just beautiful, and that’s who she is to me. And the fact that we already had a rapport and an energy about us, I just thought she was the perfect girl for the video. Things got real heated on the set, but we were just doing out jobs.”

These two did their job quite well, although Tyrese said he was a little intimidated when Chilli arrived on the set. When asked how he prepared for their romantic scenes he said:

“For me it was just doing push-ups, nothing else. I just wanted to maintain my Hot in the presence of Hot. I said, ‘I need to get my muscle game right,’ ’cause we’re in the bed together, we’re wrestling. I felt a lot of pressure when Chilli showed up!”

While Tyrese made it clear that he’s not romancing Chilli, he did say he has a special lady in his life—his daughter. He told Boombox that right now, she comes first in his life and no foolish woman could ever take her place.

“I now have a very aggressive bottom line that wasn’t there before she came in the picture. I now know that keeping horrible people — bad business people, friends, family, whomever — in your life who are taking away from your happiness, it’s only going to be her who suffers in the end. And I don’t love you enough to keep you in my life, compared to her. So I’ve gotten rid of people and situations that don’t belong, un-apologetically.”

I still think he and Chilli should give it a try.

    Based on comments and a book that he co-wrote, dictated, I think he has just begun to realize the correct utensils to use at dinner, and how to treat a woman, a lady, a wife or mother. I do think he is trying, at least that is what he want those who listen to believe. Unfortunately, the rhetoric I pick -up from him is that he is in a self convincing place. To much time is spent talking about it, let your actions dictate. Example in the article he states; the most important relationship is his daughter and no foolish woman can come between that. ( I am para phasing of course) . If you walk it like that no woman about it would even think about interferring because they would see the love and appreciate that vibe. In which case you resonate man behavior and the woman will probably find you worthy of her company.
