Russell Simmons Says Adrienne Bailon Distraught Over Wardrobe Malfunction

Russell Simmons, shareholder to the site Global Grind (so THAT’S why they always have pictures of Angela Simmons!) took to the website today to talk about all the fuss over ex-3LW and Cheetah Girl Adrienne Bailon’s wardrobe malfunction at last night’s Caesars event in NYC. If you haven’t looked through our fashion gallery today (shame on you), then you probably haven’t seen the dress. But as you can see now, it was a pretty suspect one that had a see-through bottom.

I’m talking see-through back (but with beading covering the scandalous-ness) AND see-through front. However, the front had a big piece of fabric that was covering her up…or so we thought. Reality was, Bailon didn’t have any panties on underneath her dress, and when the wind blew that bad boy sideways, everybody caught a glimpse of her…vajay-jay (for some reason, we can’t say the regular V-word…). While she was smiling as she showed the world her business, according to Russell, who spoke to her this morning, she was actually mortified by it all. This is what HE claims she told him today. In tears:

The wind blew and despite what other girls may do, this is really a terrible accident to me. I’m really upset, but I’m even more upset about what my parents might think. I want to be known for my talent. I love the idea of being Hot, but I’ve never been in this business to sell sex, I’ve been in this business to sell my talent. The truth is, when you look at the pictures, you don’t realize that the wind really did blow my dress, and I don’t really know what else to say about it.

While Simmons wrote about the fact that he wouldn’t fault one of his daughters if it happened, the best response he gave was this: “Adrienne will be fine, as she is incredibly talented. This moment will blow over quicker than the wind that blew up her dress. Hold ya’ head up and your dress down. Keep smiling.”

Awwwww, how nice. I can feel what he’s trying to say, but in reality, if that were my daughter I wouldn’t trip on her. She’s grown. However, I WOULD say, next time you step out the house trying to do the risque look, try having some damn underwear on. If you can’t wear underwear with a certain outfit, then you can’t be too surprised or upset about what might happen in said outfit and then act like you weren’t really trying to have people see what you’re working with. I’m just saying…
But hey, we all make mistakes. Just don’t play coy about it.

    SMH… It’s not a wardrobe malfunction, it’s a BRAIN MALFUNCTION or at least a publicity stunt! Did she checked her outfit in the mirror before leaving her place? In fact, she’s a repeat offender! She did wear a see through green dress 15 days ago…

    Hmmmm, here’s a thought next time wear actual clothes not some see thru scrape of material. She knew what would happen and is using this “OMG I’m so sorry this happened….sniff, sniff” to get her name and face out there so the herd of people sheep will start checking her out and spending money on her. She was aware of what would happen because after she put this crap on and took a couple of steps I’d be willing to bet that she had to adjust the eye patch to cover up her vagina. Whatever, she lacks class, moral fortitude and common sense and if she was my daughter she’d also lack a couple of teeth.

    This was a publicity stunt gone all wrong. There’s no way you can wear a sheer dress & not want your body on display. Young women today don’t cherish there bodies. They might as well just come out the house completely naked.

    Guess what Adrienne, this still doesn’t explain why you left your house without underwear.
    This outfit makes no sense,it looks like she put on the dress then cut the fabric to expose the inner mesh n her puthy underneath, had a little left over fabric so she used it as a sash to keep the cut material in place..Still didn’t look right so she put a jacket on.

       Thank you…put on some underwear and attach the dang fabric to the “dress.” This chick makes my head hurt with this foolishness. Very poor example for young women.

    That’s what happens when you wear easy access clothing. Quite frankly it is not only classless, but unhygienic to go out without undies sitting on chairs and leaving behind who knows what to stain other ppl’s clothing.
