Ebony/Jet Founder – John H. Johnson Gets US Postal Stamp Honor

In honor of Black History– The 2012 black heritage stamp from the U.S. Postal Service will be the deceased founder of Ebony/Jet – John H. Johnson who died in 2005.

The Johnson stamp joins the ranks of other honorees like U.S. Rep. Barbara Jordon, singer Ella Fitzgerald, Supreme Court Justice Thurgood Marshall, poet Langston Hughes and baseball player Jackie Robinson.
