Style to Steal or Girl, Stop: Toni Braxton’s Revealing Gowns

On the other hand, she attended the Hollywood Reporter’s Nominee’s Night event yesterday for the Academy Awards in something more demure but definitely still sassy. Her sheer lace dress was long and flowing, and it had cutouts for you to get a peek at her back and stomach. That sheer lace all over also gave you peeks of a lot of other things…With spaghetti straps and floral details, Toni literally let it all hang out. The dress was made by designer Marc Bouwer.

In the end, I like the second look a bit better, but I probably wouldn’t have worn it like the superstar. I can’t be showing off my ladybits like that. However, she looks fab, though I wish her hair looked like it did in the first ensemble. That House of Chapple dress was alright, and I know she likes to perform in risque styles, but to me it didn’t look as regal and fly as the Marc Bouwer dress. Plus, her accessories the first time around could have been better. All black everything…you can’t go wrong. Or at least, not THAT wrong.

But what do you think? Which look do you prefer? Or is a no-go all around?

    I like both dresses. She looks great and i dont feel these fashions are too revealing or over the top. The second one has a bedroom feel to it, but its stunning nonetheless.

    I think she is a very attractive woman who tries too hard to show assets of her body that only her man should see. She has big pretty legs but does America have to know that?! Abd honestly she looked better with her short hair cut instead if all that tacky weave. Her short hair cut gave her an individual style. That long weave makes her look like everybody else. Women you can still look $exy without showing the world your a**.

      Only her man should see?? So if she was simply wearing shorts and a t-shirt, like many moms do, would that be an issue because her legs are showing?? What if she was at a beach in a swimsuit?? Would that be an issue because her big pretty legs would be showing? She is a performer. On stage it is about entertainment and that is her performing style.

    I don’t think Toni realizes yet that her career is over so she’s trying to stay relevant by dressing like a teenager.  Yes she has the body for it, but so do many women who choose not to walk around barely dressed trying to impress people they don’t even know.  The sad thing is she’s not the only one, Mariah, Madonna and JLo to name a few all dress provocatively assuming it will boost their careers.  I guess sometimes it works, but really at the end of the day, they’re all middle age mothers who don’t want to be irrelevant but sadly already are.

    its funny how they call this revealing just because she is wearing a sheer dress with a bodysuitbottom (not panties)  under it and a thigh high slit toni is a beautiful performer!! most performers these days are just wearing a body suit with stilettos so she should be considered covered up
