We Like to Part-ay…and Bulls**t: Rita Ora The Next Rihanna? You Tell Us…

If you haven’t heard of Rita Ora, you might need to take first dibs on acting like you discovered her because she just might be the next big thing. A Roc Nation artist under Jigga himself, Ora has been making waves in the U.K. for a little while now, but today, the singer of Kosovo-Albanian descent and her boss, Jay-Z, went to Z100 to debut her new track, “Party and Bulls**t.” Paying homage to B.I.G., the singer serenades us over a Miley Cyrus-ish beat (“Party in the USA” anyone?) that definitely fits the Z100 pop heavy crowd. Folks are throwing her name around like she is being groomed to be the next Rihanna (especially since Jay-Z isn’t too happy about those remixes Rih-Rih did this week…), and the ladies do look a little similar (I see a little Bey in her as well physically). However, the song to me is just okay. I’ll let you decide if she’s the second coming of Rihanna or another one and done artist in the game. Check it out and share your thoughts below:

    i dont know why people are saying Rita is gonna replace Rihana…. but at the same time i dont know why people are not saying that the end of the road for Rihana is just about… Rita is new chick, who is gonna bring something new to the music… now days there are no many artist out there whom are willing to be more innovative,,, so RITA babe where have you been… another thing, whats this black and white s***t? the girl can sing, so give it up yo… Jesus

    okay….I just listend to this as well as another one of her songs and all I have to say that Jay-Z obviously knows how to pick women with amazing similarities to his wife….she sounds just like Bey…will she be the next big thing?: probably…he has the money to put behind her to get her played and played and played until people have no choice but to listen… well those with no real ear for REAL MUSIC!!!…lol

    I actually like her, she can sing! I don’t like people comparing her to other female artists….she is her self….not Rihanna nor Beyonce so please spare me with the comparisons! Do your thing girl just don’t do a lot of “partying and bullsh$tting” ;) and she have a pop look which is good for their pockets.

    Rihanna can sing…i liked that fact that even with her inconsistencies mainly from the start of her career with her voice the girl mostly sang live unlike MANY who just annoy me with their many if not all lip-syncing concerts.  One Rihanna is enough and all we ever will need.  No one can’t replace her at all though i have some ppl trying to imitate her Bajan accent singing voice *rolls eyes.  There is something about Rihanna, that have many around the world and seemingly not America (but that’s okay since know how it really is with them) People are pulled towards her.  She is human so mistakes and the absense of a brain will seem to occur but her look is different even if someone that comes up looks similar to her not the same, doesn’t carry her same essense, her charisma and all that she has.  She likes to try new things but that’s her, we all have had our bad days with clothes, hair, men etc. She doing her so you do you.  People don’t start their dreams and careers to be a “Role Model” (which ppl like to believe in bad from certain countries, i personally never checked for those sorts nor had any one that i did, i knew right and wrong, what i believed in, my talents and what i wanted to do in life and that was enough motivation for me).  This girl is VERY pretty to me, she sounds like a few i have heard before, since everyone into this “different voice/sounding” thing some actually come close enough to sound like the same person.  Just like no other MJ even though have Usher, Neyo and Chris Brown and who ever else out there…it’s not the same.
