Fine Tune: Men Who Could Sing To Us Anyday!

In the past, I’ve talked to women about having a man who can write poetry or sing and the general consensus is, “Yeah, no thanks…I don’t want anybody sitting around singing to me all day.” I get it but if you had any of the following men around your house, you wouldn’t ever want to hear them sing?

Check them out and let me know if you agree…

Musiq Soulchild

For years now, Musiq has been dropping album after album and they all have that one song on them that make you say, “Dag, I wish someone would say that to me.”  And he sounds good singing it too.

Eric Benet

With all his issues from the past and virtually every woman hating him for what he did to Halle, it’s nice to know that his light is beginning to shine brighter because of that voice. Have you ever seen Eric in concert? That man can GO.  He hits the lyrics on “Chocolate Legs” and the women turn it into another type of show!

Adam Levine

Now Adam is what many consider “blue eyed soul” and he’s cute too!  He has a real distinct sound that women seem to love. If you’re ever on the internet or around girlfriends while “The Voice” is on, just watch the reactions of all the women.

Anthony Hamilton

There is so much I could say about Anthony but the main thing is that he is arguably the best male R&B singer to step on the scene within the last…10 years.  He can sing anything and you feel every. Single. Word.  You think he sings to his wife on a regular basis?

Kem

If you’ve never seen Kem live, I suggest you get to the next music festival and get into him. He always sounds just like the album version of his songs (if not better) and you kind of feeling like he’s singing right to you.

Eric Roberson

Please tell me you know who he is?!  ERRO, as he’s affectionately called, has been on the scene for just over 10 years and he’s kept his movement strictly independent. His fan base is loyal and unwavering.  Look up his song “She” and tell me you don’t want to just marry him right now (I mean, if he weren’t already married).

Raphael Saadiq

From back in his days with “The Tonys,” we knew he was a star. Raph has never let us down, whether he wrote and/or produced it for someone else or he did it for himself.  His first solo album Instant Vintage is something you can play at any moment. My favorite song? “Skyy Can You Feel Me?”  Gotta love that Saadiq.

Luke James

Did you see Luke last week on the 2012 BET Honors? I hope so but if you didn’t, I’m saying that you need to jump on the bandwagon RIGHT NOW.  Here’s what’s funny to me: he’s a real pretty boy – almost modelesque – so you do not expect that singing voice to come out of his mouth. But when it does, you’re absolutely blown away. Right now, I have his mixtape on repeat and he’ll have an album out later this year. PLEASE don’t act like I didn’t tell you!

Robin Thicke

As the current president of “Blue Eyed Soul,” Robin continues to serve us real good music with such a sweet voice to go with it. I wonder if he used to sing little love songs to his wife Paula Patton when they were in high school. I could see that happening…and her laughing in his face because in high school that’s cute but embarrassing.

Stokley Williams

First, let’s give it up to Mint Condition who, last year, celebrated the 20th anniversary of their first album! Time moves so fast that I didn’t even realize it had been that long already. And who has always been the lead singer? That daggone Stokley Williams.  Stoke is dope because he always seems to put some “stank” on his songs. You always know Stokley’s voice when you hear it…and don’t you always just want to hear it?
