Free Birth Control on Obama

January 23rd, 2012 - By Veronica Wells

The Obama administration has made birth control a lot more affordable for most people. Starting August 1, most healthcare plans will be required to cover the entire cost of birth control without charging a copay or deductible.

The decision comes after static from right-winged Republicans and several religious-affiliated organizations, naturally.

But even religiously affiliated hospitals and universities will have to abide by the plan by August 1, 2013.

    Go OBAMA!

  • Sugar_Spice

I applaud the Obama Administration for making this happen but my thing is a lot of people who need birth control don’t have health coverage to begin with.

    • IllyPhilly

Say what? Those baby mamas get all the section 8, healthcare, and baby sitting money they can get! Now a hard working mother of two won’t get it, but a b*tch with 6 kids in a two bedroom project has a ton that she sells to the mother of two.

      • pearl handle

@illyphilly….just a not but have you ever mat a female with 6 kids, living in section 8 housing discuussing the lack of accessablity to birth control pills?1. if she has 6 kids bc has probably never been a big concern of hers. 2. while its understood your upset lower income people assumably have it all good because of government assistance you should appreciate that probably dont need it. I get ticked like everybody else on this subject but i wouldnt trade my no assistance needing name brand food eating trips every year taking no welfare needing life with anybody for some food stamps or free pills.
