Oops! Yvette Nicole Brown and Octavia Spencer Aren’t the Same Person?

January 23rd, 2012 - By Brande Victorian

Thank you Bravo for bringing us another “all black people look alike” moment.

In a hilarious call-in on last night’s episode of “Watch What Happens Live,” a woman called in to ask Yvette Nicole Brown how it was being in “The Help,” except the actress wasn’t in the movie, Octavia Spencer was.

Yvette took the mix-up lightly and said it’s pretty common for people to confuse her, Sherri Shepherd, who joined her on last night’s show, Lonnie Love, and Octavia Spencer for one another on a regular.

The funnier thing, as Sherri pointed out, is the caller wasn’t even white. So much for that being s*** white people say.

Check out the clip below. Have you ever gotten these actresses confused?

I actually think that’s a valid mistake. They look really similar, it’s not like the some other really stupid comparisons I’ve heard between black people that look nothing alike.
