9 Celebs Who’ve Opened Up About Their Lesbian Affairs
Celebrities basically sign up to have their lives exposed to the public once they appear on the big screen, or sell out a concert venue. But does that include their personal lives? Unfortunately for them yes, but lucky for us sometimes details about their lives can make for quite a juicy read. Although most actors and actresses can hide behind their “role” and “character” to act a certain way and therefore serves as an excuse for what they are portraying, there are no excuses once the cameras turn off and their real personal lives are exposed. Sometimes their personal lives are even more interesting than their on-screen performances! Check out these 9 celebrities who openly admitted to lesbian affairs, well, after the paparazzi had caught them a few times!
Pop singer Rihanna was supposedly involved in a lesbian relationship according to a Hollywood socialite, who made the claims in her book, out this year. In her book ”Low Down Dirty Shame,’ Model Tajah Burton said she had an affair with the female singer from Barbados. The 22-year-old Rihanna was born in the Caribbean Isle and has previously stated she is attracted to women, which makes the claim a little more credible. Burton told The Sun newspaper in the UK she did not want to name the star without her consent, but said: “We had an amazing connection. We would order food in together, we watched TV together, we did all kinds of stuff. It became a sexual thing. It only lasted a couple of weeks because she was very busy and had a lot going on in her life and we had to be secretive.” Rihanna, who famously dated rapper Chris Brown and LA Dodgers’ Matt Kemp, has not spoken about the claims. But in 2009 she said everyone had the “ability to be attracted to both sexes” and continued on to call actress Megan Fox “yummy.”
Megan Fox does not consider herself lesbian, but does admit that she is really, really attracted to women. She opened up about her love for the ladies in an infamous GQ interview. “I decided that I was in love with this girl that worked at the Body Shop. I decided that I was going to get her to love me back, and I went out of my way to create a relationship with this girl, a stripper named Nikita … Look, I’m not a lesbian. I just think that all humans are born with the ability to be attracted to both sexes … I mean, I could see myself in a relationship with a girl—Olivia Wilde is so Hot she makes me want to strangle a mountain ox with my bare hands. She’s mesmerizing. And lately I’ve been obsessed with Jenna Jameson.” Although her past seems to include a fling, it’s probably safe to say this actress won’t be shooting down a movie involving a little girl-girl action.
Angelina Jolie was very open about her love affair with actress and model, Jenny Shimizu. “I probably would have married Jenny Shimizu if I hadn’t married [Jonny Lee Miller]. I fell in love with her the first second I saw her … she’s great. We had a lot of fun,” she said in an interview. Shimizu and Jolie met in 1996, while working on the teen film “Foxfire.” The pair was involved on and off for several years. Shimizu doesn’t buy Angie’s story of loving monogamous heterosexual relationships. “She loves women too much. It’s like a drug and she was hooked.”
Black Eyed Peas singer Fergie was sleeping with girls after marrying Josh Duhamel, until her therapist reportedly told her in 2009 that she would still be cheating on her hubby by having flings with women. She explained that “just because I enjoy women doesn’t mean I’m allowed to have affairs in my relationship. I learned through talking with my therapist that it is still cheating even if it’s with girls, so there is a rule there.” The now 36-year-old Fergie, whose real name is Stacy Ferguson, had confessed to being bisexual earlier in the year. She says that her girl encounters have been a lot of fun. Fergie even admitted to the UK Sun newspaper, “I’ve had a lot of fun with women, and I’m not ashamed of it.”
Leave it to Courtney Love to over share about everything, including her lesbian fling. “It was Kate Moss. She doesn’t care. It’s a great story for the grandchildren so . . . yeah. Kate wasn’t doing a lot of drugs. It was just a thing that happened in Milan in the ‘90s. It happened and it was fun and whatever. And she talks about it and so I hope she doesn’t get mad that I outed her about it … I feel like such a kiss and tell … Kate’s great, though! Kate’s a good friend of mine.” Sounds a little bit like Kate might not be so thrilled to hear about this confession that Love made in May 2010, explaining alleged affairs that took place in Italy over a decade ago.
Before she mated with Kroy Biermann, “Real Housewife of Atlanta” Kim Zolciak had a relationship with DJ Tracy Young. “There were sparks, but [physically] it was a gradual situation … Tracy made the first move. Our first kiss was passionate and exciting … We just connected on a different level,” she told Life & Style magazine. Saying that only two people knew about their fling, Zolciak suggested that Young exaggerated their short-lived fling to the press and cut all ties with the DJ after less than one year.
Growing up, Hayden Panettiere admitted to practicing her make out moves on her girlfriends. “It’s great to be single. It’s great to have boyfriends. Or girlfriends. There are occasions when you kiss your best friend growing up, having fun and goofing about. Like perfecting your technique.” Supposedly none of this girl love has translated into her “adult” life.
Lohan and DJ Sam Ronson, who began dating in 2008, have had a number of very public breakups and makeups over the course of their rocky romance, one of which ended so badly that Ronson’s family filed a restraining order against the ‘Mean Girls’ star. Said the actress when asked about her relationship with Ronson: “I just wanna live a happy, healthy year, continue on the path that I’ve been on and be with the person that I care about. And my family.” A “pal” went on to point out that Lohan hasn’t dated any men since she started chilling with Ronson. Stay tuned!
