The Real, Real Basketball Wives of The NBA

Reality TV shows will have you believe that being a basketball wife involves shopping, having lunch while being taped and fighting with females over he said, she said. The real story is that wives of basketball players are more than just the pretty face on the arm of successful athletes. They are strong, driven women who are the backbone of star players. You won’t find these woman throwing drinks at each other in a club, they are at home taking care of business especially considering that they really are wives and NOT exes, girlfriends and baby mamas that reality shows love to exploit.

 


Piper Billups, wife of Chauncey Billups

Piper, wife of Chauncey Billups, who plays for the LA Clippers, met Chauncey years ago in high school. They both attended George Washington High School back in Denver.  Piper isn’t just a wife, she is also a philanthropist who dedicates her time to different charities . She was even awarded a “Making A Difference” award for her devotion to the community.The Billups also have 3 beautiful daughters together.
