First Look: ‘Think Like a Man’ Movie Trailer

“Act Like a Lady Think Like a Man” is inching closer and closer to its theatrical debut and the official trailer for the movie has just been released.

The cast of the film based on Steve Harvey’s controversial “Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man,” book  is an interesting mix, from Gabrielle Union, Taraji P. Henson, and Michael Ealy, to Chris Brown, Kevin Hart, and Terrance J. Regina Hall, Romany Malco, and Jerry Ferrar also star in the flick, and I peeped a Keri Hilson cameo.

The trailer sort of reminds me of the movie “He’s Juts Not That Into you,” so I’m curious to see what you think. Check out the trailer and let us know if you’ll be catching this flick when it hits theaters in Spring 2012.

    This movie looks like good entertainment. I actually bought my sister that Steve Harvey book for Christmas, but I forgot what she thought about it. I just hope that women don’t take this movie the wrong way and start acting like “players” since according to this movie most guys act like “players.” A woman doesn’t need to think like a man as long she thinks of how Jesus act then she won’t be bothered with the “Players.”

    If “looks good/funny” is another phrase for “looks awful/like the same mediocre romcoms that constantly play in theaters, except with black people” then yeah, this looks real funny.

    I expected some silly trailer, but this actually looks interesting and entertaining. I have read so many comments on other sites of the trailer being the “typical black movie,” whatever the hell that’s suppose to mean, but I might check this film out.

    *side eye* I still don’t know how I feel about Steve Harvey….well actually I do, but I’m trying to be nice. The movie looks funny as long as women don’t try to take this man and his “advice” seriously. The best place to find out what a real man is supposed to be like is the Bible #justsayin

      The Bible? You mean the same book that tells men to stay away from their wives and to not let them touch anything when she’s on her cycle because she’s “unclean”? Really? Yeah, good luck with that.

        No, the same book that tells men to love their wives as Christ loves them (Eph 5:25), and that a virtuous wife is more valuable than rubies! (Prov. 31:1) I’ve never read the command, “Stay away from your wife. ” Chapter and verse please?

          Amen! I’m so tired of people thinking the Bible and Christianity is some sort of sexist thing. It’s a relationship for men and women. But of course, it’s hard to talk about the love I have with my Father and the love He has for me to people who lack faith. That’s ultimately what a relationship with God is about :)

          Also, peep 1 John 4:7-21 which talks about love: God’s love for us and how we need to have genuine love for each other.

        I think you’re referring to the Old Testament….we have a new covenant in Christ haha that’s why He died on the cross. Women no longer have to be sent off to some strange land while they’re on their cycle. Nice try though and God bless :)
