Terrence Howard’s Estranged Wife Slaps Him with a Restraining Order
Terrence Howard certainly has a reputation with the ladies–though not necessarily a good one. In February, his wife of one year, Michelle, filed for divorce, and now, she has gotten a restraining order against the actor—claiming he constantly beats and threatens to kill her. Terrence, of course, says its all lies.
In the court documents, Michelle claims Terrence began beating her up only seven days after they walked down the aisle in January 2010. She says he “slugged me across my face and neck” and threatened to throw her off a balcony. Other allegations include smacking her in the face and chipping her tooth with his wedding ring; throwing her down to the ground in a parking lot; telling her, “I’ll hit a woman quicker than I’d hit a man;” saying, “If you tell anyone about my personal business, I will kill you and no one will ever know; and screaming, “B****h, walk home. That’s my car, I pay for it.”
Terrence filed his own legal papers, denying that he ever threatened Michelle, and claiming she has threatened to “release private materials to third parties for her own personal financial gain” unless he pays her.
Sources told TMZ the material in question includes a video of Howard singing naked in the shower….I’ll leave that alone.
Terrence’s marriage to Michelle is his second. He was three children with Lori McCommas who he was married to for 14 years. The couple divorced in 2003, then remarried in 2005, then divorced again in 2008.
Terrence sounds as big of a mess as the characters he plays. What do you think about these allegations against him?
