2. Black Folks Just Aren’t “Savable”
Instead of taking back his ludicrous “brainwashed” comment, Cain doubled down on his criticism of Black voters during a recent appearance on The View. Cain said that he was encouraged that “a lot of black Americans are thinking for themselves,” and repeated his claim that in a general-election match-up against President Obama, he believes he would take at least a third of the black vote. “But the others, they’re not savable, they don’t event want to hear about my 9-9-9 plan,” Cain said. No thanks, Herm. We’ll wait on the the savior to come by. We’re just brainwashed like that.
