In the history of momagers, Sonja Norwood is legend. Her daughter Brandy was a bona fide superstar by the time she was 15 and, needless to say, is one of the most successful R&B/pop acts in history. Younger brother Ray J has certainly made a name for himself also in music and in reality television.

Matter of fact, now the whole family is on the reality television spin with the VH1 program, “Brandy and Ray J: A Family Business.” Viewers not only got a sneak peak at the siblings’ home lives, but that of the career of their momager. The visibility provided by the show was perfectly timed as Sonja recently announced the establishment of The Norwood Talent Agency Corporation, a full service agency dedicated to nurturing talent in the areas of film, music, television and commercials.

Sonja recently sat down with De’Juan Galloway to discuss her career and her burgeoning business.
