Whether you’re a fan of Tami Roman or not, it can’t be denied that the star has done a great job of raising her daughters, rapper Jazz and online personality Lyric. They’ve always come off as very levelheaded young women, who even in their mother’s most emotional moments, have managed to offer her sound advice when she needs it most. So it wasn’t a surprise to see the very mature response Jazz gave when she was asked if her mother and Basketball Wives co-star Evelyn Lozada could perhaps mend things at some point in the future.

Jazz was answering questions in her InstaStories recently when a follower asked if she thought Tami and Evelyn could be “cool” again. She replied by saying that as adults, they can choose to not deal with one another without things having to be shady or negative.

“I’m not them so I can’t say but I can say, they’re both grown and can not like each other without being beefed up (which they’re not). I do it all the time with females,” she said. It’s part of being an adult. You can choose not to be around someone without speaking on them, bashing them etc. After the reunion I doubt they’ll be in the same vicinity.”

While Evelyn has still managed to bring up Tami on this latest season of Basketball Wives, going as far as to even claim the Bonnet Chronicles star did some voodoo to give her joint pain, Tami won’t even mention her co-star. Tami has done a pretty good job of not falling into the trap of talking negatively about Evelyn when her name is brought up. She wants to live her life without having Evelyn anywhere near it. She made it clear that that’s what she wanted when originally asked about the possibility of returning to the show prior to confirming she was doing so for Season 8.

“We didn’t speak before taping, we typically don’t speak after, and I think both of us just owe ourselves a greater service of me not coming into her space and her not coming into mine. Just respecting boundaries,” she said.

“It doesn’t need to have cameras and it doesn’t even need to happen,” she said of them coming together to deal with their issues. “I just feel like we both know what it is, and we can both move on accordingly.”

As for Jazz, for the record, of all the ladies outside of her mom, her second favorite basketball wife is Tami’s new good friend OG.

“Cause out of the episodes I’ve seen, she holds her own regardless of the situation,” Jazz said when answering the question about which “wife” was her favorite. “I rock with people who don’t go with the way the wind blows.”

Certainly a classy young lady. Hit the flip to see more photos of Tami with her lovely daughters.
