Law Schools That Land Top-Notch Salaries For Grads

March 9, 2011  |
One thing’s for sure, law school is not cheap. Nevertheless, many head straight to law school without thinking about the heavy debt load they’ll incur once they are awarded their JDs. The average amount borrowed by a private law school student is over $100,000. So it goes without saying that prospective law students should check out statistics relating to average salaries of graduates (if top pay is what they’re after). Forbes worked with to find out the average mid-career salary of law graduates to determine which schools produced the highest-paid alumni. Here are the top 22.

22. Brigham Young University Law School

Mid-career pay: $173,000

20. Georgia State University College of Law (tie)
Mid-career pay: $176,000

20. Fordham University School of Law (tie)
Mid-career pay: $176,000
