At this point after the Gayle King interview and with R. Kelly’s incarceration, it’s clear that Jocelyn Savage and Azriel Clary are content to continue staying with R. Kelly…or at least on his property. But their lives may be getting a little less lush in the coming weeks.

According to TMZ, Kelly’s two young girlfriends have denied claims that they are homeless and hungry now that the singer is away from them.

TMZ reports that the two have been working and being compensated for working as Kelly’s assistants. I can’t imagine that it was that much work but reportedly they handled bookings and other business matters. Since he was paying for everything else, they were able to pocket most of the money. So they claim they have enough to tide them over.

But now, the two women are struggling to gain access to it. Gloria Schmidt, the woman who has been working as their attorney, claims that one of Kelly’s staffers was in charge of dispersing payment to Savage and Clary. But since Kelly’s arrest, that staffer has bailed.

The condo where the two women are staying in Chicago’s Trump tower is paid for throughout the end of the year. But with Kelly being denied bond, there’s no telling if he’ll be out before then. We’re already half way through the year.

While the young women claim that they’re doing well, their parents are still concerned for their safety. They were seen running up on Kelly’s publicist, asking why they hadn’t been able to hear from their daughters.

Kelly, who has been denied bond, will be transferred to Brooklyn to face his second federal indictment.
