Wow it's hard to believe that the owners of this franchise are indeed african american. My best friend and I and her baby ( all black females) entered this establishment on a Saturday night to dine and enjoy each other's company. When we entered we were greeted and seated, and that's where the trouble begins. My friend and I waited at least 8 minutes to be waited on. I had time to go to the restroom and come back, with no assistance being offered to our table. Several BWW employees passed out table, and the restaurant was not that busy at the time. In the end, we ended up walking out, and let the greeters know what had happened. We live in East Texas ( notorious for stereotypical behavior, and racism) so we are used to it. It just makes it feel worse when I found out the franchise owners are black.

No, College Grad 1, you are mistaken. The two men profiled own two of the many franchises that are Buffalo Wild Wings (and are most likely the only black franchisees across the country). They have NO affiliation with anything other than the one in Torrance, CA or the one in the Crenshaw District. They hired so many young people, they were falling over themselves to serve us. The vibe is great. The bar offers 30 choices of beer and a full bar for cocktails, etc. I can only speak for the Crenshaw franchise which is where I interviewed Karim and Edward. Here are pics from the grand opening. A good time was had by all! http://theprperson.smugmug.com/Sports/Trevor-Ariz

I love to see young black men making making moves and showing the world that they can be successful business owners. We need more stories like this, that inspire others.
