Cardi B continues to make money moves with Fashion Nova. Her second collection with the clothing line raked in $1 million in a day.
Since her first Fashion Nova collection sold out within minutes, they made sure to have five times the inventory they had for the debut. This collection is already outdoing her first line, TMZ reports. For the second time around, Cardi debuted more pieces, upping it to 107 pieces from 82. The spring/summer collection is described as being “inspired by ’80s and ’90s influences, balanced with themes of empowerment and rebellion.”
The “Clout” rapper said this collection is way more sexy than her first, which is probably why it is selling out so fast.
“But this time around, the clothes are going to be a little more sexy,” she told Elle. “You’re going to see a lot of skin. A lot of cleavage. But yet it’s so pretty and so elegant. I made sure it was sexy but also beautiful.”
If you look on the Fashion Nova site now, you will be in luck because the collection isn’t completely sold out. However, only 93 styles are listed and not all of them are available.
The Bronx native also hinted at stepping into the beauty world and debuting a cosmetic line. She didn’t give details but from the way she reacted it seems to be in the works.
“It’s something I wanna do,” she told Entertainment Tonight.
Cardi already collaborated with Tom Ford for their Boys & Girls lipstick collection and had a cobalt blue shade named after her. That too also sold out in a day.
