Cardi B. is a modern day King Midas with everything she touches turning to gold…or actually platinum. Cardi B. has been a regular supporter of Fashion Nova, so when she teamed up with the fast fashion brand for a collection, it was no surprise that it sold out immediately! No surprise that the initial success and consumer demand has led the Clout singer to bring us a Spring/Summer collection.
The collection is inspired by the 80s and 90s, which is very on-trend with current styles. The collection will have themes of empowerment and rebellion and again, will be size inclusive. True to Cardi B.‘s style, it will have an overarching sexiness fused with casual wear and occasion wear pieces giving you clothes that you can wear on the weekend, to work, and to that important event.
Via press release, it was revealed that we would see modern day trend mixed with classic boudoir themes. We’re expecting to see a lot of laced hardware fastenings, cinched-in waist details, corsets, cut-outs and more. Yes for outfitting a strong, confident qoman!
One thing that is unique to the collection is that Cardi B. is going cruelty free and utilizing vegan leather. We stan a sustainable Queen! Latex is also a material that you will see throughout the collection using it as a layering technique for a fresh take ion style. You will also notice a bright and bold color palette, so expect lots of red, cobalt blue, and fuschia. Perfect for spring/summer! For our black lovers, don’t worry, the collection will also cater to you.
The collection will be priced around $40.00 with pieces starting at $29.00 and going up to $99.00. It will offer 47 looks and a total of 107 pieces. It will officially release on May 8th, 2019 at 9PM.
