Since Kim Porter’s death, Diddy has been reflecting about their love and friendship that lasted over two decades. While publicly grieving, he has been hit was backlash because he is deeming Porter his soulmate but never married her and had other long term relationships.

In his latest Instagram post, he reminisced about when Porter flew 12 hours and then drove three hours to be with him on the set of the “Can’t Nobody Hold Me Down” video. That was the first time he told her he loved her and they solidified their relationship.

“I called her BONNIE AND I WAS CLYDE!,” he wrote. “This picture will go down in history as the first time I said she was MINE!!!! AND THE FIRST TIME I TOLD HER I LOVE HER, little did I know I was hers. Miss you BONNIE.”

Under the affectionate post, followers criticized Puff for not tying the knot with Porter. When one follower asked why he never married Porter, he confessed that he was “scared.”

Another fan went as far as to call Puff fake.

“Never fake,” he replied. “I wasn’t ready and that’s it. I’m ready now but it’s [too] late. Don’t be like me.”

He went on to answer another fan’s question about why he did not marry the woman he said was the “love of his life” saying that him not marrying her “had nothing to do with the love” he had for her.

When Diddy and Porter weren’t together, he dated Jennifer Lopez and Cassie, whom he was with for 10 years.

Porter, whom he shares three children with, died in November 2018 of lobar pneumonia in her California home. She was 47-years-old.
