As stunning as Meagan Good is, she too can be self-conscious from time to time about certain things. For example, the 37-year-old has been open about her issues with her eyebrows over the years. In 2013, she told Wendy Williams that she had to tattoo her brows on after shaving them off quite a few times when she was much younger. Her experimentation as a young girl caused her brows to not grow back in the way the star had hoped.

“I tattoo’d them 2 years ago. The area I grew up in, there were a lot of Spanish girls. And they used to shave their eyebrows off to draw them on,” she said. “When I started doing that, they didn’t grow back. So I had to tattoo them on.”

After a few years of trying to figure out what look and color would work best for her face (and a few missteps in doing so), the actress revealed last April that she underwent an eyebrow transplant.

“My eyebrows are finally coming along after my #EyebrowTransplant!” she told fans at the time. “This has been such an eyebrow evolution journey lol, but finally starting to come full circle 😭🙈 Eyebrows like a real little girl 😩😂🤣🙃. No, but seriously after destroying my eyebrows at age 19, I’m over the moon with these results thus far. Special thanks to my guy, eyebrow specialist @DrJasonChampagne.”

Nearly a year later, Good has continued to show off the results and serve face. Earlier this week, she shared her excitement over the success of her eyebrow transplant, which has allowed her ‘brows to flourish in a natural way.

“I can’t thank @drjasonchampagne enough for getting these eyebrows all the way together! #snatchnation lol” she wrote. “God knows my eyebrow journey has been almost as interesting as my actual life journey.”

An “eyebrow journey” is the perfect way to describe it. Hit the flip to check out Good’s eyebrow transformation over the years, starting back in 2001:
