Gabrielle Union is known to be quick with the clapbacks and on Saturday, the brown-hued beauty gave a social media critic a lesson on why it’s sometimes best to keep your Twitter fingers to yourself.

The actress and new mom welcomed the launch of her newest collaboration with New York & Company by posting a a photo of herself in a maxi dress from the collection, pairing it with chunky sneakers, all the while sporting an unbothered look on her face.

“All my unfinished work/projects from 2018 looking at me as I prepare my vision board for 2019 like 👀😒😐 And a glimpse of my upcoming @nyandcompanyeat/pray/love/travel/chill collection available next week!! Sneakers by @lining.official,” Union wrote in the Instagram caption.

This somehow bothered a user named yahyah07 who thought it best to attempt a dragging session. “Can you dress your age please,” she wrote in Union’s comment section.

“Oh I’d loooove to hear what you think is age appropriate,” Union quipped back. “Please gimme allll the age appropriate fashion advise I didn’t know I needed in my life.”

As soon as Union posted a response, her fans jumped in the ring to assist with the KO.

“Can you have a seat LITTLE GIRL and stay in your lane! KNOW YOUR PLACE, you are the weakest link!!” wrote Instagram user neenstervibz. “Watch and learn how a Elegant and Fabulous woman handle hers. Immature and rude much😏.”

And while Union probably didn’t need the assistance, we shouldn’t forget that celebs are people too and don’t always need your unwarranted opinions. Unfortunately, yahyah07 had to learn this the long, hard way.
