(Chicago Tribune) — Any annoyance Nadia Toledo’s faltering 1996 Chevrolet Cavalier gave her paled with the anger she felt when the car was stolen from in front of her Little Village home this month.  “It gave me rage,” said Toledo, 27, on Thursday, more than a week after the car that serves as a lifeline for her family disappeared.  The Ogden Police District on Chicago’s West Side, where Toledo lives, has seen a more than 50 percent jump in auto thefts in the first eight months of the year, compared to the same time last year.
